Food was a step up from your typical tavern fare. We started with a fairly decent cup of home made broccoli soup. My husband had the fish (cod) and chips. Adequate portion of fish that was firm and very fresh tasting. Sweet potato fries were good. I had the Moose RIver sliders: angus beef, carmelized onions and swiss cheese on artisan rolls. Friendly waitress. Would go back again.
Review Source:My wife and I stopped at the Moose River Bar and Grill a few weeks ago with her parents. Â We had gone to Seeley Lake to eat somewhere else, but that other place was closed or something. Â We asked a dude at one of the local gas stations where to eat instead and he recommended the MRB&G. Â Thanks Dude! Â This place was awesome! Â
The folks who worked there were great! Â Very friendly and welcoming. Â The food very good as well. Â A couple of us had the fish and chips. Â They used halibut for the fish. Â I can't remember ever having better fish. Â The other two dishes looked pretty good. Â Everyone was very happy with their order.
If I am ever in the area again, I will go out of my way to eat here again.
My husband and I were passing through on our way to Glacier National Park and decided to stop for lunch. Â The hostess/waitress was very friendly and helpful. Â At her suggestion, I ordered the fish and chips and my husband had a burger with sweet potato chips. Â The fish was out of this world and my husband enjoyed the burger and especially the sweet potato chips.
