Mothers Bar & Grille

I used to go here every Friday night for the DJ and Karaoke.  The place would be so packed that there was barely dancing/walking room.  It was a great place to hang out and have a good time.  This was about six years ago when it was still called Mother's, and even when it was called The White House for a time.  Now, going back, to what is now called The Starlight, I find it horribly dead.  The "DJ" was just a woman sitting behind a computer screen and every now and then throwing out trivia questions, to a nearly empty room, for free beer.  My friends and I sat in awe of the difference.  The back room that was once used for the DJ, bands and dancing was left empty and unlit while every one crowded around the bar area.  The atmosphere was quite boring.  It went from  a place where we'd stay till close, to a place we left after an hour.  Their food is still decent, but I just don't think I would go back.
