Mountaineer Bowling Lanes

They have bowling and booze. People get together here and socialize. It's perfect if you are stuck in this town.

All I can say about this sacred piece of land is that I will always see someone I know there, even though I moved away from Bluefield after graduating Beaver in 2003.  For that, I like it.  It's a community spot.  As for the place itself, I wouldn't go there for the fun of the bar/pool/sports/juke box experience.  In the same breathe, it's Bluefield.  Where else CAN you go?

This has to be one of my favorite bars in town. Gets crowded on weekends but it's always a good time! The atmosphere is one of the best features of the bar. They have a projector that they play most of the football, basketball, and baseball games on. I always enjoy going and watching WVU play on Thurs, Fri, and Saturday nights during football season. They recently added food to the bar menu. I highly recommend trying the chicken fingers dipped in hot sauce. The food is cheap but tastes amazing.
