Mr Sub

One word. Three syllables. AMAZING! Not only are the prices more than fair, but the menu has a lot to offer besides sandwiches. You can get pizza, hot subs, cold subs, salads, soups, chili, pasta salads, and I could continue making your mouth water but it's making me hungry as well! The other night we ordered some food to pick up. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken sub and I ordered the Haddock. Both subs came with lettuce and tomato, buffalo sauce and bleu cheese for his and tartar sauce on mine. I forgot to tell them wheat so both came on white, I will remember next time! I also ordered a SMALL side of macaroni salad for less than $2.

When we got home and started to dig in I was in foodie heaven. The subs were perfect in every way. The bread was soft but not mushy, thick but not chewy, and it didn't get soggy from the veggies inside (unlike other sub chains *AHEM*)  My fish was wonderfully cooked and I could tell it was fresh. I tried a bite of the buffalo chicken and while it tasted awesome, it was very messy! Then I got to the macaroni salad. I couldn't believe my taste buds. It has a one of a kind creamy, peppery, zesty taste that is not overpowering in the least bit. By far one of the best macaroni salads I've had. The "small" was big enough for that night and the next day for lunch! I will have to restrain myself from ordering the LARGE container because I have a feeling it could feed a whole family for at least two dinners.

I sat there amid the litter of empty wrapping papers and bags wondering, "How can one meal be so satisfying?" The answer is Mr Sub. I wish the menu wasn't so big, because I will be sad to leave without trying at least a few more subs and maybe a pizza or two!
