Murphy's Law II

One of the worst and most unfriendly bars I've ever been. I understand the locals only bar scene but everyone was getting treated like crap. Took us an hour just to get someone's attention so we could leave with our tab. Spoke to the manager about it and she was very apologetic and nice. We were looking to stay there pretty much Until they closed but after the service issues we decided to pack it up and drink some beers at our place.

Even though the smoking ban has been in place for over 2.5 years, it didn't seem to apply to this establishment. We came to Murphy's II to see a band and left with eyes watering from how smokey it was. It seems like a cool dive, filled with locals and a great laid back vibe. Just couldn't get past the cigarette smoke EVERYWHERE.

This is a locals-only bar and you have to hardcore earn your place here. But once you do, it's the best, most drunken, raucous time you will ever have. The karaoke is forever entertaining and you can expect to dance to the Cha Cha Slide (or whatever's popular) at least twice in one night. Drink prices are reasonable, buybacks are very good, the customers like to party and the dress is very low-key. It's the perfect everyday bar.
