My entire family loves this place! The fish and chips are absolutely excellent. Excellent burgers and fries also.  The décor is old and dated but was clean.  A nice friendly atmosphere for the family. I would have given this place a five star review but they are only open for breakfast and lunch now. CLOSED at 2pm.  So plan to go early.
Review Source:This is exactly what it should be. Â It's a great local diner. Nothing flashy foodie, but it's still great. Â I'd recommend the chicken fried steak or the fried egg sandwich. Â I tried the Eggs Benedict which was very good. Â The hollandaise wasn't the best I've ever had, but the eggs were done to perfection. Â The wait staff is friendly and attentive.
Review Source:I did not expected to find such a gem in little Grayland, Washington. Â It isn't gourmet nor trendy; it's straight-forward and very well made. Â I would describe it as a very casual local diner/restaurant whose staff are hard-working but very friendly. Â Our waitress greeted us immediately when we entered the bustling restaurant. Â She was humorous and swung by our table several times to ensure we had plenty of hot coffee and that our meals were good.
I hadn't had chicken fried steak in years, but somehow it was calling my name. Â It was tender and crispy with a very delicious sausage gravy. Â My sunny side-up eggs were cooked just right and there was a scruptuously fluffy biscuit on the side. Â It has now been added to my list of places to go when I return to the area.
Good food nice people, but came with some issues
First thing that did sucked is they were out of fettuccine noodle, so couldn't get what I wanted originally , so I got ($11.99) fish and chips, which was pretty good(big portion) but the
negative thing is I really like veggies and the serving we received was about 5 - 7 Â 1/4 inch slices of baby carrots! Barely enough for a child, so really pathetic! Which was a real bummer caused I had subbed out my coleslaw to get the carrots.
My husband got the special ($9.99) cashew crusted chicken (2 pieces chicken+ potatoes) but they forgot to give him his soup to go, and when we realized it we were already on the beach and it was past 8 o'clock  so they were already closed.
so good food but don't know if I would make it a destination place.
I got the "breaded veal", tasted homemade and the service was impeccable. I was at first scared to enter a restaurant with all white people, cuz you know, when you venture out of seattle there are a lot of racist cities. This place does NOT fit into that catergory. They are great. Our server was soooo nice, going above and beyond to make us happy. :) I'd give the place a ten if i could!
Review Source:Their fish and chips was amazing. Â We shared a captain's plate, and it certainly made it worth the three hour drive! Â I had never had oysters before--now I know that's totally what to get next time. Â The oysters were lightly battered/fried and the tartar sauce was great. Â
The place was easy to miss, tiny, but we were lucky enough to snag the only open table. Â It seemed that all the regulars there ordered either the crab or shrimp louie. Â Add that to the to-do list. Â Good blueberry pie.
Absolutely the best place to eat on the southwest Washington coast.
Reminds me of that show Mel's Diner
The fish and chips are number 1 fare... hand dipped a huge portion and delicious. Â The wait staff is funny and although not quick.... they are competent... I would highly recommend this place to anyone in groups of 6 or less...more need to give them an hours notice..;) Â try this place if you ever drive through this little wide spot in the road.
This place was amazing. Now, if you are passing through the little itty biddy town of Grayland, stop here to eat. The BEST fish & chips I have ever had. They were HUGE pieces of (cod?) and the breading wasn't greasy or oily tasting at all. They make homemade pies, various kinds, & the crust is to die for. Grayland is a blink-and-you'll-miss it town on your way (most likely) to Westport, but support this special town by eating HERE!
