My Place Downtown

This place really is great! Always a crowd and always some good music.  Their food is also delicious for being a bar.  But that is the problem, this place is tiny. It is only a bar.  They serve food but if they are busy then you will not find a seat and even ordering a drink can be a challenge.  Most of the time I don't feel like they are too busy to serve the people I just feel like they need another bar tender OR the one's there need to move more quickly and get it done.  Overall I would pick the bar across the street, always had a better experience but, this place is fun for sure and I do think their food is better.

If you pay over 12 dollars for shrimp and grits you should get more than 4 shrimp.

I wanted to like this place and it seem interesting from the outside once we saw it in the light of day, but the food selection was lame and the prices were not cheap.

We ordered some sort of Artichoke and Crab Dip and it came with two different kinds of chips, like they ran out of the one and just threw in some old ones they had.

The portions for the price were terrible, my shrimp and grits was more of an appetizer. Very disappointing.

Overall for the price we paid it was a big flop.

About the only thing good about this place was the fact that the delivered.  We were visiting from out of town and it was nice that this place delivered to our hotel.

P.S. Lose the Bettie Page graphic on your menu. Is that supposed to make me hungry?

Had the special: steak tacos and they were indeed special! Love that they source local ingredients the atmosphere and bartender Kenny was great! Can easily see becoming regulars.
