I know that people will give me grieft for it but I went to the market with my Mexican bf and he even called it "Mexican swap meat market"....super duper crowded but still walkable, most of the items you can buy in bulk at wholesale like socks, jeans and toys. There was food, fruit and vegetables but overall it seemed that everyone was selling the same items. There was nothing original, nothing... one man wanted to sell me an old model cell charger for $8!  Thanks but no thanks, I ended up buying roasted peanuts and cuties, whoo ! $3 parking.

Oh man, have you ever wondered where all your stolen stuff is? It's here. Or the broken toaster that guy just took out of the dumpster in your alley? That's here too. It gets two stars for an unbelievable variety: pinatas, SNES games, "fresh" produce, car parts, but man, I'd be nervous to buy most anything here, both because it's probably broken AND because it's most likely stolen. I won't be back.

I finally made my way to the flea market, after living down the street for several years.

Open SUNDAYS ONLY @ 7am, closes @ 5pm, but most places start packing up @ 4 (DISLIKE!)
Parking is $3 in the lot or free on the street.

There is everything for sale!  I saw:

    Furniture
Clothes (including sock stands and lingerie)
    Toys (including pinatas!)
    Music
    Rugs
    Bedding/comforter sets
    Sports jerseys/sets
    Plants
    Tires
    Audio/alarm equipment
    Boots/shoes
Jewelry (including body art & fake gages)
    Faux colognes
    Nail art supplies
    Make-up
    Purses/backpacks
    Art/posters

    and, of course...
FOOD! Cooked, fresh produce, snow cones. :)

It totally reminded me of shopping in the LA Fashion District. Yay!

Zero purchases - people watching scores a 5.  All the taco trucks are here and the chinese fast food trucks.

But, where do they get this stuff?

Great produce!  If you're looking for something functional (tools, household items, clothes), you'll definitely find it.  Only a few collectibles vendors, but still lots to choose from.  We bought an old brass nautical clock yesterday ($10) that was our treasure find of the day.

I've been coming to the flea market for about 15 years & still enjoy looking for bargains.  The market is much larger than it was when we first started going, but easy to navigate.  It took us about 2 hours to walk through and see what we wanted; had fresh roasted corn yesterday & it was delicious.

Stumbled onto this Mexican flea market this past weekend for the first time, on our way to Yountville. It was surprisingly big with lots of vendors selling varieties of goods ranging from used items, clothing, groceries, auto parts, plants etc.

The one thing that caught my attention was the Chinese food truck, it had mounts of fried rice, noodles, fried chicken legs, chicken skewers etc. on their display window, for a bargain! You can get a 3 item combo for $5.5 which can easily feed 3 people! I opted for the $2 GIANT fried chicken leg, it was crunchy, oily and well seasoned, i dipped it in chili sauce, and it was an explosion of fattiness in every bite!! Didn't finish it all, since I've to watch my figure, and save room for lunch at Yountville~ :)

If you are looking for socks, fruit, veg, and breakable toys this is the perfect place for you! Yes, it kinda sucks if you're looking for garden stuff, deco, art, plastic jewelry, home stuff, luggage, kitchen items, or the typical things you would find at a flea market. But the worst was the layout it felt like you were trapped in a  maze! Oh one more thing... there might have been 500 vendors but they all sold the same exact thing for the same exact price!

    Has died down so much!

Man I remember just about 6 or 7 years ago when Mom's and Pop's brought us here after breakfast and there were so many different booths to choose from. Now there is about one booth for each item sold, seriously though what happened?

I mean $3 for parking, not bad but to find a good spot is the worst part!

Well they are usually open about 7am-4pm every Sunday I think and if you want a good parking spot you have to get here early of course. You've got plenty of good eats to choose from, all your local flavors too. Chinese and Mexican mostly. They even have my favorite...PINWHEELS!!! (don't know what they are really called, maybe chicharones?)

This place has everything you need though, beds, clothes, shoes, speakers, seat covers, undies, socks, even instruments! Of course they also have all the fun annoying toys for the kids that we don't want them to have but they are gonna whine and moan until they get their way!

    Meh.

The Napa Flea Market & Auction boasts "500+" vendors and is open every Sunday, year round, from 5am-5pm.  Parking costs 3 buckeroos.

Let me let you in on a little secret.  What they don't tell you about this particular flea market is that the "500+ vendors", seems to be 10 vendors' products x 50 booth spots...so you see the same '6 for 1' deals on socks and Sharpies over and over and OVER.

Not really the place to go if you're looking for a one of a kind trinket, or piece of furniture.  You're better off with thrift stores and garage sales.

With that being said, if you are looking for socks and Sharpies, I highly recommend this venue.

Three stars for the heavenly churro.
