This could be a continuation of the previous review.
I did stay and order the regular BBQ sandwich and a Dr Pepper. I was too grossed out to dig too deep into the menu.
During the 10 minutes I was in the establishment, I was under constant attack from flies. The sandwich was of the pork variety with KC Masterpiece slathered on top. (Nothing special to report)
I walked to the counter to pay and was asked to wait for the other server to count the drawer down. Since I was intending to pay with a debit card we were able to avert the count down. I got my slip and asked "where do I add the tip?" The server remarked "I should have told her before she rang me up." I guess we can both chalk it up to a lesson learned.
My husband and I stopped here for bar b q. It was late, approximately 8:30 pm. We were en route home from Chicago to Texas. This restaurant was not clean and I almost felt we were intruding. We were not greeted but just asked if we were eating there. The waitress was ill. She was sleeping at one of the booths when we came in. After she blew her nose at the counter and got through sneezing, she brought water. We left.
