We usually end up here anytime we're visiting in Lincoln City. It's bright yellow and hard to miss. Also we're always here around the afternoon so we've never experienced the local nightlife part of it, to say the least.
I will say it's a nice & spacious bar with chairs clearly bought from an out of business office store or something. That lack of pretentiousness I LOVE. The walls are lined with old albums covers (and this goes into the bathrooms as well) so it's fun decor wise. There's the typical lottery games & a horribly complex golf game if you want that to pass the time.
Drinkwise it's a full bar + numerous decent beers on tap. All very reasonably priced.
Reason for 3 stars? So this bar has the MyTunes jukebox that you can play music either by using the machine or an iPhone app. I decided to use the app & bought the equivalent of 8-10 songs depending on what you picked. All went well for awhile, but then the bartender skipped two of my songs and SHUT THE JUKEBOX DOWN. Two paid for songs. This is clearly idiotic of the jukebox vendor allowing a bar to do this but he did this so he could watch women's gymnastics. To say I was livid is the least. Sorry you don't like my music but I paid $$ for it so shut. the. eff. up. My boyfriend talked me off the cliff of rage since we'd probably come back but THE HELL.
I've already contacted the vendor but to me that's a no no. Let me tell you the many times I've heard shitty bar music and would LOVE to skip that crap. But it's my understanding that you can watch gymnastics without too much commentary (unless you want to be old many pervy then well.....ew).
So seriously, NM, don't you eff with my music. No. No you don't. Otherwise totes fine.
Just stopped in here for a beer. Â And for that purpose, it suited admirably. Â It was late at night on a Monday. Â The place was dead, sports were on the TV, and there was plenty of spot at the bar. Â I was helped by the bartender immediately and got exactly what I wanted.
I could see where this would be a really great place, but I was just passing through on a night drive, there wasn't a whole lot for me to experience. Â Still, I didn't regret stopping in for the brew.
Recently opened bar in the heart of Lincoln City on the West side of Hwy 101.
First, it isn't a strip club, despite the name. The previously blacked out front windows are now clear, making it look less like the strip club it originally appeared to be.
Expect very strong pours on well drinks, only a few beers on tap when we visited (think Widmer Hefeweizen, Coors Light, and Bud kind of selections), and with a few decent bottled beers as well.
They also have food, with $3 nachos that are pretty good. Bar snack mix on the bar too. Can't say anything about the rest of the food, because we didn't see a menu and only tried the nachos, but they appear to have a full kitchen.
They have a large space, with a sound system and stage, with a decent jukebox, but only 2 credits per $1 on it. Pool tables. Parking in back, or on Hwy 101.
It's a little boring looking inside, really just a TV for visual interest when we visited, but they appeared to be setting up live music in the near future. Maybe because it's relatively new, it isn't very lived in yet to have the usual 'crap on the walls' to liven it up.
Mixture of locals and tourists visiting LC crowd, nobody too crazy but a few characters around.
Worth a visit to get your drink on, if you're looking to do something other than the casino.
