  My daughter and I make an effort to spend a few days every year in the Grayland/Tokeland area, and we ALWAYS make a stop or 2 at the Nelson Crab place.  We buy a little tub of fresh crab to dump into the chowder and we sit out on the picnic table and enjoy!  We love this area for the peace and quiet, and the beautiful beach area that is nearly deserted most of the time.  If you DO go to Tokeland, make sure you stop in here!

  Nelson crab keeps a little seafood stand open on the Tokeland peninsula, it's farmers-market style, with fresh crab, canned seafoods, and whatever else happens to be fresh that weekend. The facilities are very minimal, just a shack outside of the crab processing plant.  But great for a quick crab cocktail or to pick up some fresh shellfish for dinner.
  
  They also ship shelled and unshelled crab anywhere in the US.  I have sent crab off to family and its always a welcome gift.  
  
  If you're making crab cakes, come here to pick up shelled crab, its much easier than trying to buy crab whole and shell them.
