The Night Owl Food and Spirits

Good service and lunch specials. Stopped in for lunch on our way to New Glarus and got a good burger and beer cheddar soup. Stop by if you're in the area.

Okay, it's been a while since I wrote my review...time for an update....

Local bar, some local brews, and awesome food?  The Night Owl still has it!  I ate here recently, a number of times, actually, while cutting firewood during cold and snowy winter days...stopping here for a hot lunch to warm up was PERFECT!

Service is quick (at the bar, take note, when it's busy, service can be a little slow in the dining area) and the food is hot and fresh....  Carnivore?  You have to try the steak sandwich and the black&blue burger...both are INCREDIBLE!

I love small places that really care, and this is one of them.

The food is delicious, and the staff is genuinely nice. It's always a good experience when I've eaten there.
Even when I wear my Detroit Lions jersey, they don't treat me badly. LOL!

A must try when driving through Evansville.
