I have been here a few times and every time has been great. I recently went for my birthday with a bunch of people and we had a fabulous time! I received 2 free desserts, they sang to me, the staff was super friendly, and we just had an all-around fun night! This is by far one of my favorite places in Morgan Hill. I will be back soon!

Went in on a walk by/ Yelp look up on the phone app. Staff very help full and friendly service and ability to get your order correct and food taste a must for me. This place is way better then even the highly rated spot across the street (you know who I'm talking about) the wife and I think a must if your in Morgan Hill.

Came to this place with a friend after work for drinks and appetizers around 7Pm on a Friday. The bar was not full but customers were spread out with chairs between them so we sat in the lounge area up front. The seats were comfortable and we were greeted quickly but waitress just said hi and walked away. We reviewed the menu and I was ready to try a few appetizers but after sitting there for 15 minutes without a drink I had to leave.  My wife and I had been wanting to eat dinner here but I won't go back. If they can't get me a drink in 15 minutes I don't think they'll deliver my dinner timely.

We must have bad luck for our first visit to this bistro tonight compare to the many positive reviews that we read here.

We ordered fried calamari, grilled steak sandwich, and Noah special pasta.  Fried calamari's portion was very generous, but it was overcooked and chewy.  The steak sandwich was cooked medium as requested but had no taste.  The sauce for special pasta tasted like the dried lipton onion soup mix.

We gave one star for the good service we received since all 3 dishes got an F.  Very disappointed first-visit experience!

Ate here last weekend with the wife.  The flow of the place is a bit strange.  There is a bar and lounge area in the front with tables on the side and in the back.  They should knock down the wall in between the lounge area and the back dining area to showcase the kitchen and give the room a better flow.

The wife ordered their Ribeye steak and I had an Ahi entree.  Their menu item was actually Mahi-Mahi but they had a special salad with Ahi and I asked the waitress to substitute.  She was very accomodating.  The wife's Ribeye was huge, but it should have been for $36.  Both her steak and my Ahi had good flavor but both were undercooked.

The food was good but not great.  But the waitress was very nice and accomodating.  Not sure if I'd go back there though.  Just wasn't "wow'd" by anything.

    Not too shabby...not too shabby...

Who would have figured Morgan Hill downtown was the hot spot to wine and dine. Hub hub and myself were meeting up with my coworker and his wife for dinner--being that they live in Gilroy and we are in SJ--we decided to meet somewhere along the middle.
We called four restaurants prior to stumbling upon this joint (via yelp) and failed miserably at securing any reservations within a two hour window.

Wow. Really? This doesn't happen in SF-- LA even. Hub hub and I have even managed to squeeze into Michelin rated restaurants within same night reservations. You know the spiel--there's always last minute cancellations.

But noooooooooo go in Morgan Hill. After our failed attempts at four other dining establishments, we came upon Noah's Bar & Bistro. 4 stars, 23 reviews...

Gave them a ring-a-ling and they had us seated within 15 minutes, and yes, there was nearly a full house here too! I'm telling ya, who would have known little ole MH held on its own.

    Food was quite decent.

Husband had the ribeye. It was prepared as how we asked: medium rare. Oh, how so many restaurants can get it oh so wrong. The glaze to the steak as I recall was quite flavorful as well. I had a salmon pasta dish. I can't remember the name of it but it was ok. The salmon was broken into chunks. I was under the impression I would get a grilled filet piece on a bed of pasta so when it came out the presentation left me underwhelmed. My fault, I suppose.

Honestly, I'd give it 3.5 stars but I know the power of a 4 star rating vs a 3 and these guys here at Noah deserves traffic coming through that door so I'm going to seal the deal and give 'em a nice solid 4.

The food and service was good. The only problem was I found a hair in my food. One star dropped.

One young girl that works there never smiles and walks around with  one finger in her mouth. It would be nice if she said welcome to customers coming in.

The prices are a little higher, but ok for the location.

This is my first visit to Noah's. And I am impressed & looking forward to a return visit for dinner.
Everything was top notch...great service. Food was great and wasn't overpriced...not cheap, but priced well.
Highly recommended.......didn't get the "loud" thing, others had mentioned.  Apparently they did some ceiling acoustic work and the noise level seemed totally acceptable to me

A wonderful new addition to Morgan Hill.

The appetizers are great and the drinks are yummy. The service is the best.

We had crab cakes and chicken skewers with our drinks for a nice lite dinner.

My only complaint is it gets quite loud on busy nights.

I love Noah's! My boyfriend and I love to come here for the Beet Salad... he adds steak and I add chicken to mine. We were there last night and ours salads were exceptionally good!  We sat at the bar and were able to watch the Giants and the A's game. Also, the owner is ALWAYS super friendly and welcoming. The staff is friendly, the environment is casual and the food is always yummy! I plan on taking my friend there next week so she can try the stuffed prawns which are to die for!

I would give no stars, because we never actually got served, but that's not an option. My husband and I stopped by for a late afternoon drink and appetizers. I was a little worried because we were just in jeans and sweatshirts, but the people in there were dressed casually as well so I thought it was fine. We walked in, no one greeted us, so after a few minutes of just standing there we sat ourselves. After about 5 minutes another couple walked in, were greeted, sat and handed menus. As we sat a busser started to clean off the table next to ours and I apologized, asking if it was ok to sit there. He assured us it was fine and brought us menus (weirdly asking if we wanted bread and water-don't you just automatically bring those?). After perusing the menu we made our choices but no one approached us. The couple that arrived after us was being waited on, going over a wine list with the bartender (who came from behind the bar to the table). He poured them tastes from multiple bottles, walking by us each time and never even looking at us.
As I looked at my phone I realized it had been almost 25 minutes since walked in and we hadn't been served. We gave up and went elsewhere. It wasn't very busy at all to be ignored for that long.
I personally didn't care for the décor, sort of a modern-loungy thing that wasn't inviting to eat in, but that's just personal taste.
I doubt we will try again.

Great food prepared perfectly. Would have been a 5 star review but the service was really lacking. Waited 25 minutes after finishing our meal and declining dessert before we received our check. Then another 15 minutes before we had to find our waitress to get our change. Really wanted to give a better review sorry Noah.

First time at Noah's last night. The place has a really contemporary atmosphere with a beautiful modern bar and (2) flat screen TVs that you can watch from the black leather couches. Very different for MH. The staff was very friendly and gave us a lot of attention. It is family owned which I like. Very happy to get bread with oil/balsamic (which Odeum doesn't give you with their high prices). I ordered Seafood linguine which was very good and not messy to eat like other restaurants I have had it in. Wine by the glass was very reasonable and had a nice selection. I will definitely go back.

We recently celebrated a surprise birthday party at Noah's, and it was a great experience.  It was a beautiful evening with our tables outside. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. They sat us right away, had our drink orders very quickly and appetizers out within a short period of time.  The owner came by to greet us and made us feel very welcomed.

The food was delicious, drinks were fantastic and the price was reasonable.  We highly recommend this resturant for your engagements in South County!

But I absolutely loved this place & their food. The decor was very nice, modern & chic
Everything I tried was really delicious.
Worth every Penny!!!! & they have coke products :)
I will definitely be going back for more.

1 star for it being so L O U D! The irony is that the bar is much more quiet. Even the servers were having a hard time hearing, thus there were several courtesy nods and smiles.

4 stars for the support staff, meaning the busboys, who always kept our water & bread plates filled. They were really on top of it.

3ish for the waitress...took our orders but did not bring the actual food out. I don't like it when the food isn't brought out by the waitress. She was nice and all but I like consistent service. I don't fault her skills, but perhaps the restaurant for their practice in having someone else other than the server bring out the food (or at least accompany it). Accountability I guess. I do notice that a lot of restaurants are following this bad trend.

2 1/2-3 stars for the food. Had the calamari, it was 'fine', kids had the clam chowder and they enjoyed it. I had the sliders and a salad, wasn't disappointed but wasn't exactly overwhelmed either. The fries had great potentiall, hand cut, with the skin but they were limp, To put that much effort in the preparation and for it to fall so short was a big bummer. Salt would've been a nice addition to that too. Just a nice crunchy fleur de sal would've been awesome. Technique! You can't suck at french fries!

The Man had a chicken sandwich, and he took out the bacon because it wasn't crunchy, but that's a preference issue...unfortunately I ate his bacon...limp and all.  I wish everything that was limp tasted as good as bacon.

Wont be going back. But that's for you to decide!

The food and service is fantastic.  This place has a really fun feel to it.  We sat at the bar, but there are loungy type chairs on the side that look comfortable.  The happy hour menu is outstanding.  1/2 off appetizers, and $2 draft bud light.  I got crab cakes, calamari, and stuffed shrimp.  Everything was delicious.  My husband ordered a burger and fries with chipotle sauce, and he said it was the best burger he's ever had.

I don't expect the prices to stay low, this place was packed in about an hour.  Get in there while you can- it's great.

I'm giving these guys 4 stars because I'll definitely come back - the food was good - but it's more of a 3.5 because I think they're still getting the wheels rolling and getting themselves established.

The thing that really stood out to me was that it felt ... mmm for lack of a better word... amateur. Not that the service wasn't great - the staff was very nice and accommodating - but I just get the sense that they were a little nervous or didn't quite have a foothold on the job. Not a bad thing, but a little awkward interacting with them.

Because of the somewhat rocky start there, I was nervous about how the food was going to be - but I'm glad to say I was proven wrong! The food came out great. Their 'starch of the day' was a cheesy polenta and man, it was good. The green beans with the mahi mahi tasted just like Thanksgiving dinner. Fish was cooked well.

We ordered the plantain dessert, and it lists the ingredients in the menu description, which included condensed milk and ice cream. To me, the flavors didn't seem to be blend much - it was literally like plantains covered in condensed milk with ice cream. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really novel either.

I think considering it Santana Row-esque is a litttttttttle bit of a stretch, but I get where they're going. At 9:00 p.m. the music dropped (loved it!) and they have the lounge area set up somewhat like a mini-version of Sino or the like. I'm hoping someone besides the lovely housewives of Morgan Hill will start hanging out there because it did seem a little stepford-gone-wild suburban at the time I was there. :)

All in all I would bring friends here and recommend it to others. I think they'll develop a great following and wish them luck!

P.S. I should add my photo is of a somewhat boring looking southwest salad, but it suited my palate at the time and the chicken was prepared well!

I had such high hopes.  We had heard about the noise.  For sure.  They should spend the bucks to put down carpet or line the walls as this place will drive you nuts with the racket.  We had to shout at our table or just give up.  It was not pleasant for what is designed to be an upscale place.  People go to dinner for more than just eating.  The decor was very chic but needs some sound damping addition to walls and concrete floor.

Wait staff was very nice and cooperative about separate checks.  That was delightful as it has been an issue in the past.  However, she forgot to bring the wine list after asking if we wanted it and we ended up not getting any.  Not good for the tab.  At the end of the meal, she forgot to ask if anyone wanted dessert.  So we all just got up and left.  No point in lingering as you could not hear your friends.

I had read good reports on the food but was disappointed in the fondue.  I forgot to ask which 4 cheeses were in it but the taste was bland and the texture was gritty like cheddar but without the zip of cheddar.  Better off with traditional Swiss cheese fondue,  I think.  The broccoli and cauliflower, in addition to bread, was a nice touch.  My husband and I shared it.  We also shared the main course which was sea bass with pineapple slaw, veggies of the day and starch of the day.  All the main courses had the same veggies and starches of the day.  Our day, heaven help us, was cabbage cooked in bacon fat day.  And plain boiled or baked potatoes day.  No sauce, butter, sour cream or anything on the potatoes.  White fish, white veggies, white potatoes.  Not visually appealing.  The pineapple slaw seemed to be missing the pineapple.  Could not taste it.  Very bland and boring addition to the plain white sea bass.  I kept thinking I would ask for lemon but it was just too much trouble to get anyone's attention in the very noisy dining room.  The fish itself was cooked perfectly, not dry or over cooked.

Good for drinking in the bar but leave the restaurant alone until some important changes are made.  I understand from friends that it is much quieter at lunch so that would be a suggestion.

Average. There are better restaurants in Morgan Hill. Also, it was very loud.

We started with the four cheese fondue. It's not a true fondue. The concoction of cheeses had added cornstarch or flour in it making the texture odd and thick. Will not order it again.

The creamy garlic chicken pasta was so salty I almost sent it back, but didn't in fear of something worse happening to it, or something worse being added to it.  My husband said his shrimp and artichoke pasta was good and he enjoyed it.

Ending on a good note, the service is very good and the staff very nice.

Sometimes slow bar service when busy is offset by pretty good drinks and nice ambiance.  Food is just ok - hit and miss wih excellence some nights and then seemingly different cooks destroying recipes on other nights.  I recently went back and the food was very good this visit:)

Randomly ran across this delightful little place while on a business trip.  Excellent atmosphere and decor: the Azar family really knows their stuff!  Being a family business ourselves, we are big on supporting local family enterprises and Noah's seems to have a very bright future run by a wonderful family that gets what being a family business is all about with great attention to service and presentation!

We mainly dined on the happy hour appetizers and the portions were large while the happy hour prices were very considerate, excellent value!  The Sliders were delicious and the sauces were amazing.  The cheese fondue was incredible.  We also had a good calamari.  The wine selection had some good diversity and the bar seemed well stocked with top shelf and good local beer on tap.

Many reviews seem to complain about the noise or crowds, but we did not seem to have a problem with that even though the dinner rush followed us in & we were discussing business while seated at the lounge tables in the bar area with basketball games on the TVs (Which again the Azar family was nice enough to switch one to our game of choice which was really awesome since we are not local fans).  We could all hear each other just fine and the crowd and background noise of happy patrons was just that, background noise and not even a distraction to our party of three business travelers.  Also it says a lot about a place that is only 2 months old and has such an enthusiastic crowd of regulars -of course it helps that the Azar family are such friendly genuine people.

We had a great time and are telling all our local business contacts about Noah's and hopefully we will be doing more business in the area soon so we can enjoy this place many more times!

Such is the human race, often it seems a pity that Noah... didn't miss the boat -- Mark Twain

Certainly the old guy, most certainly in need of blue pills, driving a Miata the other day on Baily was a reason that maybe it would have been better if Noah had slept in.  The guy was a cliche with a British driving hat and than after I caught up to him and gave him an earful for cutting me off with no reason; dude didn't have even one Lance Armstrong testicle to look me in the eye as I reamed his pale and wrinkly ass.  Hey dude, if you want to be a prick just go all in on being a prick don't than start acting like a coward because crazy Subaru dude is making you feel uncomfortable.

Okay, enough of that stuff.  I've been several times to new restaurant Noah's and I think this has definite potential to be an excellent addition to Morgan Hill's burgeoning restaurant scene.  Opened by well-known Morgan Hill bartender Sadik Azar, Noah's serves excellent California Fusion Cuisine in a stark and sometimes confusing atmosphere that I believe they are now trying to lighten up. I notice a Virginia Woolfe quote up on the wall that i do not remember seeing and colorful flowers that liven up the masculine black and white interior.

The restaurant is almost C shaped with a front bar area then a narrow halway with two seat tables that leads to the small dining room in the back.  Lunch has usually been busy and I have enjoyed two excellent entrees: mahi-mahi and a unique take on chicken Parmesan.  Entrees are served with fresh veggies and starch of the day.  First time, starch was purple mashed potatoes and they added an eclectic color to the attractive plating.  Both sodas and waters are refilled quickly and the bread starter with dipping oils always gets eaten too quickly.

Glancing at the wine list I see a few unique items at excellent prices but definitely over time it will need to be built up in order to compete with The Good Fork or Ladera Grille.  This restaurant again is a nice addition to Morgan Hill and I really do hope they hit their stride.

    Recommended!

For a relaxed place to grab a bite to eat this place is bad, for a bar it's even worse. The place is so loud you can't hear the person sitting next to you and all their mixed drinks are watered down. The service takes ages to get the order to you. The waitress we had for the night had a tone in her voice . The fondue plate I ordered was alright but it only comes with bread, broccoli and cauliflower to dip, more choices in veggies would have been nice. Overall I wouldn't go back but I've been to worse,  so two stars it is.

This place is awesome!! From the decor (very modern, love the leathers seats) and the color scheme, to the music (80's and 90's tunes, we played "name that tune") to the service, to the food! We ordered the fondue, for it not being from La Fondue, it was excellent. 2 of us ordered the chicken sandwich which was very tasty! I suggest the pesto mayo for the sandwich.  2 had the hamburger which I heard no complaints about, probably because they had full mouths.  We ordered the bread pudding for desert, I was the only one who didnt care for it, but then again, Im picky.  Price was not to bad either.  We will fo sho be back.

We went here a few days after they opened, so as others said they are still getting it together. I thought the food was very good. The room however was so loud that we couldn't hear each other talk.. there was a large party in the bar area, and they were all we could hear. I don't think the acoustics are right. I wouldn't go back during peak hours.

Yay! Another good addition to Morgan Hill! If you love shrimp, artichoke, pasta, and spinach try their dish. It's rather large but it's good for lunch or dinner the next day! I went in for lunch and sat in the dining area. We were served by Alex, who was attentive, and fast. I would definitely recommend people to try this place! I must say their 4 cheese fondue was DELICIOUS. I tend to like my fondue with a little more wine in it but it was flavorful and not too heavy.

    Give this place a try..
1 appetizer, 1 sandwich meal, and 1 pasta meal was a little pricy, and large portions... Definitely more of a "dinner" place.

I had lunch here with three friends to celebrate the holiday. This is a new restaurant, open for less than a month. The downtown location is great. The service was warm and friendly. The owner stopped by the table to welcome us and tell us how this was his lifelong dream to have his own restaurant and create his own menu from his favorite dishes he's had over the years. The restaurant is named for his son, Noah.
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and would definitely go back. Prices are reasonable compared to ther downtown Morgan Hill restaurants.
Give it a try. We need family owned businesses in Morgan Hill to survive.

Good new spot in Morgan Hill.  We had a light meal sharing a salad and the steak skewers. Service was the best I've had at a restaurant in Morgan Hill. Everybody who walked by made sure we were taken care of. Even if they weren't our waiter, they checked in to see if we needed refill on drinks or anything else. Good teamwork creates a good customer experience. Well done.

I went here after reading the stellar reviews on Yelp, excited to try a new Morgan Hill restaurant.  Unfortunately, I don't agree with the other reviewers five-star ratings.  To be fair, it's early days for this restaurant and they may still be getting the ship in order.

My first impression wasn't great.  There seemed to be confusion at the hostess stand.  The interior layout is confusing, too.  Is it a sports bar?  Is it an upscale dining space?  The lighting in the evening was atrocious!  Blue-ish can lighting, not flattering to any face, or to the food for that matter.  I had an odd table in the space between the bar and the dining room.  It was awkward.  The staff was well-intentioned, but was unsure of the menu.  For a small space that wasn't at capacity, it was extremely loud.  There wasn't any background music to assist with ambience; three TVs behind the bar each played a different channel.

The food I ordered was good, but unremarkable and nothing I would reorder.  To be honest, I would never want those purple potatoes again.  They looked especially unappetizing under the terrible blue can lighting.

Overall, I was disappointed with my first experience here.  I'll try it again though, maybe in a few months.

I took my daughter here for Downtown Morgan Hill's Ladies Night Out.  Noah's just opened and we are always up for trying something new.  We went for an early dinner so there was no wait.

Our server, Kelly, was awesome.  Very attentive and just the right amount of friendly.  We were both in the mood for sandwiches and Kelly recommended the steak sandwich.  I chose that and my daughter had the burger.  We also ordered the crab cakes appetizer.  The crab cakes were delicious and came with a side of a delicious slaw.

Both sandwiches come with your choice of sauce (a lot more fun than mayo and mustard!) and fries made fresh on the premises.  My steak sandwich was the best I have ever eaten.  Very tender, tasty and cooked to perfection.

My daughter loved her burger and could only eat half since it was so big.  Brought it home and my husband ate it 3 hours later.  He thought it was the best burger ever!  We will definitely be back.   Soon.  Maybe in an hour or so. :)

I gave NOAH'S BAR & BISTRO a try tonight. Noah's is a new restaurant in downtown Morgan Hill. It has a large "lounge" in the front of the building with a bar and three large flat screens. It is hip spot to grab a drink and/or catch a game. (5 star bar)

The rear of Noah's has a small dining room. The menu was pretty vast, a lot of choices that looked delicious. My heart told me to go with the Noah's Burger with Caramelized Onions - but I'm trying to be better about pigging out until the new year. So I went with Noah's Special Pasta, which was chicken and veggies in a spicy green chili cream sauce over fusili pasta. It was delicious, it was also very spicy (which I like). My wife got the Crab Cake appetizer as a meal and a salad. The crab cakes were served with a slaw, and were excellent. My friend, Tony B aka The Mayor of Morgan Hill, had the Steak Sandwich and fries. He gave me a bite of his sandwich, and that is what I'm getting next time! The meat was so soft and delicious that you don't have to pull and tear on it. It was cooked to perfection and served on a toasted ciabatta roll. You can get chipotle mayo or garlic pesto mayo on any sandwich - and it (the chipotle mayo) made that sandwich pop. (4 star pasta, 4.5 star crabbies, 5 star steak sangwich)

Because I was with such a distinguished Morgan Hill celeb, we were later brought some Stuffed Prawns on the house. They were redic! Plump prawns stuffed with roasted peppers and wrapped in bacon? Winner! (5 star app)

We also shared the Cranberry, Apple and Walnut Bread Pudding - it too was on point. (5 point puddin)

Noah's is definitely a great addition to an already underrated Morgan Hill culinary scene. Cool scene, good food, friendly service. I'll be back. 5 stars!
