This not a place you would want to go for a dinner. It is a bar and that is it. If you are hungry you better suck it up and head to M55 and find a place out there. For the price,quality & quantiy, you would be better to hit the Bk or Arby's.

We had a group of 6 adults and my 3yr old. We hit this place up for a Burger & Beer after setting up our campsite. Bad idea.

The Ruben I was going to order was $9.25 w/chips. You can add a basket for $1.50. So hubby and I just went for a grilled Ham & Cheese (no basket). The chips were stale and so,so salty my lil' one wouldn't eat them. For $3.95 my lil on had a grilled cheese & fries basket (their kiddie menu ugh..) The other people our party ordered burgers. 1, a 1/2lb and the other 3, a 3/4lb (that is it folks. that is all they offer) with baskets. Well, all 4 came back with 3/4lb burgers. Yeah, the cook messed up. The cole slaw was nasty (served in one of those take out cups that most places put dressing in) and left behind. The fries (if that is what you can call them) where so thin and over cooked you couldn't chew them. McD's has better.

If you stop in for a drink & a burger while on Houghton Lake good  luck.

Owner is just out to make a buck. He is not in it for customer service or satisfaction. Waited 40 mins for a sandwich and 2 fried fish dinners (the special) asked to pay for drinks (which were never refilled) and was told that we would have to pay for the food that we ordered or the sheriff would be called. What a joke, treated like criminals for just being hungry. After that was told to never return, that is no problem. Will never be back. You think in a small resort town that you would be treated kindly and the fact of being a small town that you would want to take care of the community. Do not go! I would hate for anyone to put their hard earned money in this guys pocket.

Great place to connect with friends and the service is great. Summer is fun with the outdoor patio.
