Northside Restaurant & Lounge

Another great meal! Prime rib and tenderloin was perfect! I love this place!

The Northside is a true WoodHood treat.  I've never had a bad meal here and the bar is usually packed.  It's good for families, kids or parents sneaking away from the house for an hour. The ambiance is something along the lines of early 80's Long John Silver and is in need of something - I'm not sure what though.  It's delightful tackiness is part of the charm I guess.  The main thing is that these guys make killer steaks and stiff drinks and the service is always good. You get the feeling the employees actually enjoy working here! For some reason this place just knows to how to cook MEAT. This is a plus for us knuckledraggers who enjoy it. The prime rib is probably the best thing here but the rib eyes, New Yorks, and sirloins are excellent too. The sides and salad bar are fine.  It's just nice to see a local institution hang in there and Lord knows the WoodHood needs all it can get.  Rock on Northside!

Amazing food and amazing service.  What a find!  Been telling everyone to go here.  The ribs are amazing.  The tender meat falls off the bone so easily.  Large portions.  Great prices.  Decent tap selection.
