The Oaks at Eagle Creek

This place continues to get better. I am not giving 5 starts because the decor and service could still use some polishing, but the food is very food.  The Maui Tacos are a must, the hamburgers are tasty, and the prime rib is cooked to perfection.  By far the best meal in the Willmar area.

I grew up on this golf course and pretty much ate here every summer for 6 years. Since the new ownership they have cleaned it up, but it still has the Willmar (non-country club stuffy) charm. Drinks are great and come quickly, but the best change is the food. We went there expecting to eat an ok meal, but our steak, salmon, bacon wrapped shrimp, and sea-bass were outstanding.... The salad bar was fresh and clean also with warm pop-overs. Brian, the chef is obviously educated and thoughtful and caring about his food. It wasn't just a wonderful meal "in Willmar, MN" it was a wonderful meal. period.
