Office Lounge The

Seedy bar with poor management. There are always fights there. The crowds aren't unified. The management is never there. They have no clear business model or plan. Also, don't ever think about being a good Samarithan and calling the cops when you witness a brutal beatdown, they'll ban you! DJ Steve is great. he has a few good karaoke singers, and although Steve is full of energy, he can't pump up that crowd. You finish singing and...crickets.

As far as the dive bar scene....this is nothing special. Now, granted....everyone raves about the karaoke and I was not here on a karaoke night...so that might make a difference. They have free pool on Tuesdays which is nice, but over-priced beer for a weeknight. Smoking is allowed, which I enjoy, but if you're not a local you feel really out of place here.

It smells like Swisher Sweets and shame in here, but I kind of liked it. Friendly bar staff, bar patrons, and $4 pitchers...this place ain't half bad.

The blaring jukebox playing nothing but hardcore gangsta rap in a sea of hillbillies...that was a little perplexing...

Oh...did I mention the crock pot full of lasagna?! Score! I'll be back at some point.
