Ok Corral Restaurant & Saloon

Driven by a thousand times and never stopped till tonight.  I now know to never stop again!  

Waitress showed up to our table angry
Service was slow
Fries were soggy and cold
Mashed potatoes must have been instant
Gravy was flavorless yet salty
Meat was blah at best

Ok Corral should be renamed the "Not OK Corral" in my mind.

Worst dining experience I've ever had.

Food was awful. Our entrees and appetizers both ended up coming out at the same time and none of it looked appealing at first glance. Our entrees looked as if they had been sitting for quite some time, and our chicken appetizer looked like chicken nuggets out of the freezer section in the grocery store. Everything came out warm, but not hot. My top sirloin was rubbery with no real taste, side of baked beans were dried out as if they had been sitting out for an extended period of time, and my baked potato was definitely nothing to write home about. (But at this point, I was so hungry that I forced myself to finish my potato, as I couldn't even get myself to finish anything else on my plate.) Even the water I drank tasted like it came straight out of a river/lake.

Service was also awful. No one was tending to the host stand so people were left standing up there helplessly for lengthy periods of time. After we were seated, it still look many minutes for someone to take our order and get our drinks. During the (long) wait for our food, I actually looked up the restaurant on yelp and was horrified to what I read but, at this point, it was already too late to turn back. I wanted to tell the poor people waiting at the host stand for a table to not even waste their time. No one cleared our plates, and the check was dropped even though we clearly didn't enjoy our meals. I would've been happy to voice my discontent if someone would've stopped by to ask how everything was, but, of course, no one did. We just wanted to pay and leave ASAP and ended up having to fork over $50 just to eat a baked potato... Ugh.

I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant and you couldn't pay me to come back here again.

Food is a half step above horrible! Poor quality, under seasoned/bland is the main ingredient on most items (all I have had on multiple attempts). Sunday brunch is full of items from Sams Club. Not a lot of scratch made anything. Get some new kitchen staff, menu, updated ideas etc.  Heard there was new owners? Food is still the same since 1990. Skip dinner and come for drinks and live music on the weekends. Just don't order anything to eat!
