  The food is disgusting. Don't waste your time on a soggy burger and strangely crunchy fries when you can have a better burger at Don's cafe for less.

  I'm hoping to bring it up to 3 stars here...
  
  Old Number 1 is a place that I don't mind bringing the kids for lunch or dinner.  We even have business meeting here from time to time- their Lunch buffet is actually really good (although I don't typically see too many people ordering it).
  
  The staff is friendly- they'll throw Grenadine in your soda if you ask for it and keep the refills coming (usually).  The food is average- but consistent.  I've never had sub-par food here.  The burgers are well sized, and you get lots of fries.  Again- only 3 stars because the food is average to just above- but this place really is worth going to.

  Good atmosphere. The food is ok.  If Morris had alternatives I would go elsewhere.  The Wednesday beer and wing special is definately worth it.

  The best thing I can say about the Old No 1 is that is has great history on its menu and the parking lot is big.  Please don't think for more than minute that this is anything other than a bar that serves food.  I'm going to guess that if you're in Morris when the college is in session the Old No 1 is a hopping joint.
  
  Our server was slow and far more interested in talking to her friends a booth over, than in waiting on tables.  I ordered an ice tea and asked for an artificial sweetener, and she asked me what that was.  Really, am I the only person who has ever asked.  I ordered Nachos Supreme and my son had a burger [like I said bar food].  The nachos were pretty good, very spicy and it's a big plate.  My son said the burger was good, but the fries where just what you get from the freezer at home.  Anyhow this cost us $29.  I wasn't thrilled and know I won't be returning here when I visit Morris in the future.

  For Morris, its the best you'll get. The bar food is tolerable. The beer is wet.
  
  Free popcorn! Usually always pretty clean which helps.
