On our way out of town, we decided to stop here and eat breakfast. We had heard from friends that their pancakes, were bigger then my husbands head! If you know my husband then you know thats pretty big!! :) The couple that we were with ordered coffee & mentioned it was the best coffee they had had all week in Red River. As we sat in front of the window where the food came out of the kitchen we could see the pancakes overflowing the plate....they were HUGE!! Between my husband and I along with the other food that we had ordered, we were not able to even closely finish this one pancake. As we were eating our food, the table next to us asked for a "to go" box for their pancake & they brought out a pizza box. Next time we are in Red River, we will definitly be stopping by here for breakfast! They have really found their niche in this small town!
Review Source:Walking in the hostess asked how many in our party. Â I replied 2 and she said, "ok." Â I asked if she needed my name since there were about 20 people waiting for a table. Â Her reply," No, I've been doing this for a long time." Â Well, I guess she started when she was 10 years old and was now 16. Â We gave each other a nervous look and took a seat to wait. Â We were right, she came out a few minutes later asking people who was here first, etc. Â Then a 4 top was seated before the 6 top that was there before them, etc. Â MAKE A STUPID LIST, AHHHHH!!!!! Â Anyway, our wait was not too long. Â We followed th hostess back to the biggest table in the place, just the 2 of us. Â We then placd our order a breakfast enchilada for me, actually pretty good if you like a lot of cheese ( I do). Â She got a breakfast tamale and a pancake. Â She ate the pancake. Â We got our food and had finished eating while two table that were seated and ordered before us did. Â We gave our extra pancake and out of the bag hashbrowns to one of the starving table. Â If you like greasy spoon, out of the bag hashbrowns and bad coffee this place is fine. Â I do not.
