I used to eat here very often as a child with my maternal Grandparents. Â They have Southern fried catfish, hush puppies, coleslaw, boiled shrimp, and other seafood. Â This is one of the few places to eat way out in the area that it's in. Â There is an old water wheel for the water mill that is next to the place so that's where it got its name. Â If you look at the picture of the interior and look back at the support beam on the left next to the door I have a "fond" childhood memory of when got my finger stuck in one of the bolt holes so badly it took thirty minutes, lots of butter, grease, oil and patience to finally free my finger when I decided it would be a good idea to poke it in there one night after dinner. Â The very next week my little brother did exactly the same thing except it took them even longer to free him. Â Definitely a unique Southern catfish house if you're looking for something way off the beaten path and completely authentic out in the backwoods of Mississippi.
