The Olde Angel Inn

This was recommended by the hotel we stayed at in Niagara Falls. I was hesitant because it looks old and dingy. The food wasn't very good. It was hot, which is nice, but it all tasted it fairly commercial. The chicken tenders were too chewy to eat and the fries were mush (though the Brits seem to like this). Some of the food was really odd, such as chicken and peach pie. Overall, disappointed. Not a nice atmosphere, bad food, and the waitress was just mediocre.

One of my favorite spots for ambiance, and sense if historic place.  I really hope they make an effort to improve the food.  The menu has not changed much in a decade and it typically is just average .  You will not be disappointed however.  They are pretty consistent with food and service.  First time to NOTL?  A MUST !

The mysterious Angel's Inn is famous because of the story about the spirit of captain Swayze. The inn has a long history, the paintings and photos on the wall give you a very unique feeling during your visit. Bacon wrap scallop taste great but scallops were very small. The liver were cooked just right, although still a bit too dry. I recommend the prime rib, it was juicy and tender. However, the Yorkshire pudding that come as a side was burned all around, which is really not edible; in fact, the Yorkshire pudding is so bad that they should have taken it out of the menu... The owner should have known by seeing the leftovers from many other customers......
