Hit this place for the 1st time on 4/20...been thinking about stopping in for the last coupla months but this was 1st time a confluence of events led me there. Â Glad it did!! Pretty good little place.
Dark, like I think a cigar bar should be, with a number of comfy leather couches and club chairs as well as a couple of generously sized bar tables. Â Also a well appointed bar with an excellent selection of spirits. Â Had at least 5-6 brands of scotch with at least 3 of them being top shelf single malts! I was giddy, to say the least!! Â Hmm, don't know if a guy my age should ever be giddy, but I was!!!
The cigar selection was rather limited which was slightly disappointing but the lovely working the bar recommended a JAVA cigar which was a mild smoke with just faintest taste of cocoa/chocolate. Â That stogie was top shelf and I kept the band so I can try and hunt down a box of them tasties!!!
Not really crowded but that definitely wasn't a bad thing in my mind. Â The main drawback was the damn DJ!!! He acted like he was playing music in a warehouse, damn it WAS LOUD!!! Â Too loud for me, so decided to enjoy my beverage and smoke on the patio which made it much more enjoyable. Â However, don't expect any wonderful view from the patio but I'm easy to please and was glad to have a door between me and DJ "Volume Set to 11"!!
I need to find out if I can bring my own stogies in for my smoking pleasure or if I must buy on site. Â Either way, I'll be back.
