Well. It's Orcas. It's a fantasy island. I was wishing for the perfect meal but I didn't find it. The location of Orcas Hotel cafe cannot be beat. When we went earlier this year there was only the bar menu and I had the portobello burger. Nothing to write home about. The drinks and the near perfect scenery from the patio made it worth it. Go there for drinks but get your grub from the main market area.
Review Source:A very nice place to have a decent coffee or breakfast/lunch before going off to watch the whales or take the ferry.
We specially liked the two ladies that we're serving us both days. Making a nice chat and making you feel really welcome.

What an amazing cafe! The staff is so nice and extremely accommodating. The food is pretty good as well!
My boyfriend and I were staying at the hotel attached to the cafe. We had a very busy morning and had gone upstairs for a nap. We must brave been more exhausted then we realized because we woke up around 8:45pm! We ran down to the cafe because we had not had dinner. They closed in 10min but the chef had already left for the night. Fortunately the sub chef said he could whip something up. My boyfriend and I both ended up getting orca burger. It was very good! Thank you so much to the sub chef!
Not bad! A little pricey for basic Americana, but the food was all good. The girls working the counter were very sweet and friendly. We actually ate here twice in a day, cause we were hungry again after sailing, and it was just as good. Combined we all had, the burger, salmon filet sandwich, coconut prawns, fish and chips, and chowder. All of it was good!
Review Source:Considering the lack of options around the ferry terminal, this is a pretty good spot. The food is decent and the prices are not bad, about $11-14 for a salmon sandwich, fish and chips, grilled cheese or portobello mushroom burger. The view towards the harbor is great. I would recommend this place.
