The Other Place

Awful. Just awful.

First, rude bartender who acted as if we were wasting his time by putting in a food order. Next up, food. Even worse than the service. Got the fish sandwich which was raw, cold and mushy. Sick! Had to spit it out in my napkin it was that bad. My boyfriend's brat sandwich was equally terrible in taste and had in contrast been burnt.

To top it all off, once we got the check it was another 15 mins before we were helped to get change. We were even sitting at the bar, so not sure what the hold up was.

In short, I know that Sheboygan Falls doesn't have a lot to offer, but don't waste your time here.

If for some ungodly reason you are ever in Sheboygan, Kohler, Sheboygan Falls, or anywhere in the area this is the place you want to go for lunch, dinner, or just a good social time out. Its not a club, so don't expect to dance to Abba or "Fishin' in the dark", although it is on the jukebox, nor is it a strip club (sorry Fondy natives, i know you were thinking this was about YOUR "other place...here's a review of that one: crappy. too much for beer, spend that over-charging booze money on quality strippers under 35 next time).

The food here is cheap and made by good people who put some quality time and love into it. Its really good eats. The beer and booze is cheap, there's enough tv's and room around the bar - its a very long bar -plus they hire really cute bartenders, enough to make sure everyone at this long bar are doing a ok. There's a side room for more space to chill and eat dinner if you'd like, the lighting in their is excellent, a back room for parties, fundraisers, get togethers, bands, etc., and enough games around with my high score to keep you busy from all the happy drunks who may try to bore you to death with their stories.

The Other Place is always my first stop when i'm in the area....make it yours too.
