Sooooo nice to have this place in Roseburg! Â Excellent beers on tap, and there is a skinny little room downstairs for playing darts, which is cool. Â I give them a 5 because I've only had positive experiences there myself, but I have heard mixed things about the food quality. Â It can be hit or miss. Â However, everyone seems to love the scotch egg. Â
If you sit at the table right next to the door, it can be a bit drafty.
I was really hoping to like this place. I first tried them on St. Patrick's Day and very much enjoyed the live music and vast selection of beers and friendly customers. The buffet offered that day was tasty enough and consisted of the expected corned beef and cabbage, potatoes......but every item was cold. Humph. The servers were very busy and seemed a bit overwhelmed by the full house.
Gave them a second chance and ordered the chili and caprice salad. What was in that chili? Maybe Mexican chocolate / cinnamon? The menu does say comes topped with chocolate, which I asked them to leave off. And it was way too salty. Will not order that again. Â
The caprice salad was nice (with ripe tomatoes in March) except for the rock hard salt I had to crunch through with each bite. Others at my table were not impressed with their selections either.
Like I said, I was really hoping to like this place, but I'm not sure if a third chance is in order
