OT's isn't exactly bad, it's just not as good as the other place in town... and it's a bit pricier.
I love bbq in general, but I'm willing to drive past here and all the way across town to get to Sonny's, even when time is of the essence.
The pork here is pretty good, the sauce is lacking. The corn bread is sweet but dry. I don't know, maybe I've just been unlucky the couple times I went, but it seems like typical "northern bbq".
If you like BBQ pork sandwiches, and some good corn bread, this is the best in town. Â They also make great hamburgers, cole slaw and fries.
You should call ahead, as there really is no place to eat on the premises. Â During the summer, they have a small table or two out front, but that is it. Â It is mainly take out.
They have won a lot of local BBQ awards in festival competitions, and the food is pretty consistent.
