Pack Em Inn

Any time I'm in Crandon for work, I make sure to stop in here for a couple of reasons. 1. I enjoy the bar. 2. To get a pizza to take back to my hotel room with me.

Seriously, the place is a dive bar. But it is my type of dive bar.  The bartenders are awesome.  Prices are reasonable as expected.  Kettle One vodka and red bull runs around 5 dollars for a tall, and it's pretty stiff. Clientele is pretty friendly.  I've had conversations struck up with me simply for sitting next to someone and being an unfamiliar face.

Decor is North Woods sheik, which is to say a bit red necky? I guess.  The bar seems like it's partly a corner tap, partly biker bar, partly sports bar, and partly a hunter bar. They do have a juke though that is internet enabled. So it's always fun to throw off the locals a bit with things they've never heard before.

Diversity? Sure. Caucasian's and Indians.  Seriously, that's it.  The age range is all over the board.  I've seen groups of younger women come popping in, and older guys that had been working in the woods all day coming in to drink their daily allotment of grog.

Their pizza's, though frozen, just taste good for some reason. There is only 1 other place in town that I consider to have better frozen pizza, the Jailhouse.  But that's for another review.
