  Absolutely horrendous service, took us over an hour to get our food. In our party of 5, not a single person enjoyed their meal. The sauce tasted like speghitos. If you come here stick to the chips and a drink.

  Having lived close to old Mexico for many years I looked forward to authentic Mexican food after relocating to Liberty Lake. Disappointing to say the least. Good service, poor quality food. Not authentic and very bland. Won't be back.

  This is a fine Mexican restaurant in Liberty Lake.   It's menu is simple and predictable.  Food is consistently good.  Their Tortilla soup is among the best I've ever had...a bowl is a meal by itself.   Service is always good.

  Mediocre Mexican food.  Not bad but not that great either.  Pretty nice view of a golf course and hills.  Somebody put fancy pants salad mix on top of my burrito!

  "Palenque" has been very disappointing the 2 times I've eaten there.  Several of the dishes all kind of run together, same spices/sauces/texture.  The beans tasted like they were right out of the can, and their "signature dish", Arroz con Pollo was the worst I've ever eaten!!  The sauce took me back to being a kid eating a cold can of Spaghetti-O's, very ketchup-like.  The salsa was very watery and the chips extra greasy.  Next time I'm heading north to Taco Bell!!!!

  My parents own a home is Liberty Lake, WA, so my husband and I try and visit when we can.  I actually lived there until I was 8 and at that time there was nothing but a tiny gas station and mini mart in this area.  Nowadays Liberty Lake has really blossomed into a great little community!
  Anyways on to Paenque. I've eaten here twice and was very happy.  Decent Mexican food at a good price.  See my picture of my food!  They give you a lot! The margerittas are pretty tasty too! Service was fine.  If you are in the area, give this place a try.
