The Palms at Hamilton

This place is a total ripoff. I went there tonight for the first time, and it does get one star for the nice-looking ladies there and ok dance music. But, it's a ripoff, nonetheless. When I first ordered a drink, the guy said it would be easier on him to run a tab, so I said ok. I ordered two well drinks while I was there (cuba libres, nothing special). When it came time to settle up, the bartender brought me my tab, and to my shocked amazement it was for almost $18, for two well drinks, mind you. After complaining about that, I signed it, I noticed he had given me the wrong card, and brought that to his attention. He runs my card, and lo and behold it was for the exact same amount! I then asked him to show me my tab, and he gave me this lame excuse about not being able to do that after he runs my card. Yeah right. And this other guy just happened to have the exact same tab as me. A very disappointing experience, to say the least! If you go here, pay by the drink and most certainly don't run a tab because these are not honest people!

So, thought i would try this again after the not so good first time visit. It was not as busy and I had a much better visit tonight. The shrimp martini was awesome!  The band rocked too!
