I love this place! The drinks are great and so are their desserts. I've been there a few times during open mic night and the performances were excellent. There's a lot of talent around here. It is a great atmosphere if you have to study too. Every time I go I get a chai tea and it's amazing. Better than Starbucks!

Huge fan of paradigm! Love going to the open mic nights and seeing what they have to offer. Food is great and the staff is pleasant. Damon is my favorite staff member, say hi to him if you him, very friendly!

Also a very fun and exciting atmosphere, certainly affordable as well. A no-brainer!

I love to meet new people here on blind dates! Mu ha ha!!

But seriously. The baristas are pretty cool (tip them well guys)! They serve a mean cup of Joe... They have a cool little 'shop' of hand crafted items in the front right corner (as soon as you walk in). They also have a Food Co-op in the back (pretty awesome, check it out too!).

I like Paradigm a lot. Good food with high quality ingredients, and drinks, very community-minded, a real asset for Sheboygan. I have one suggestion, though. It's a little bit of a turn-off to see the dish bins right out in the front where you place your order. It's fine that people have a place to take their dishes, but having the dirty dishes be the first thing you see when you walk in isn't too appealing. It would be better to move it toward the back, I think. Other than that.... great place!

Wow... I went to Paradigm for lunch and had my 16 month old with me. I asked for a high chair. The response I got was, "Sorry, we don't have those, and we don't ever intend to have them." :s

Sheboygan is lucky to have Paradigm--great coffee, great food, and great people.  Kate and crew will hook you up with whatever hot or cold beverage you might desire.  And they are patient with newbies as they figure out what they might want to try.  You should be patient as you stand in line--it is a community hub and there is usually a bit of catching up that goes into each order placed.  Don't worry, after you have gone a couple of mornings in a row, you too will become a regular and will need to catch up before ordering your morning coffee.

Their food is made with all fresh local ingredients and is incredibly affordable.  They are so committed to local food economies that they renovated the back half of the shop to serve as start up space for the new Goodside Grocery Food Coop of Sheboygan.

And did I mention the music? There is live music many nights of the week.  And good music... sometimes so good you can't believe you are in a coffee shop in Sheboygan.  Kate has developed relationships with musicians from across the country, many of who have such a love for Paradigm that it is the last small venue that they play.  Kate also serves  as an incredible resource for local musicians just starting out--connecting them with national touring musicians and giving them an opportunity to play in front of a live audience.  I just saw Brown Bird at Paradigm the other night... Amazing.  Make sure you check out their facebook page often to find out who is playing.  The bands, like Brown Bird, are often booked just a couple of days before they appear as Kate catches them in between larger cities on their tour.

Just go.  You can't go wrong with Paradigm.  And I promise, if it is a busy day and you have to wait a bit for your freshly made sandwich or painstakingly crafted coffee creation, it will be worth it.  Paradigm is like your own living room.  Just sit back and relax a bit and enjoy local at its best.

Paradigm...my home away from home while in Sheboygan. At least that is the way it felt with all of the time that was spent there during our trip.

The atmosphere is cozy, which is amazing considering how HUGE the place is. There is plenty of room to have a meeting with a larger group of people or to just sit by yourself reading a book.

Kate is amazing, and my (short) lattes were always delicious and flavorful. I also highly recommend the breakfast sandwiches.

If I ever make it back to Sheboygan, this will be a first stop.

This place is decked out with bikes, old doors and filled with all sorts of comfy chairs and tables- perfectly eclectic for a pleasant sip of coffee.  On top of a creative and delightful atmosphere, they even serve good coffee. They made me a pour over, which they hadn't even added to the menu yet.  This is definitely a place to visit when in the lovely city of Sheboygan.

The boyf and I were cycling through Sheboygan on the week-long 2011 SAGBRAW and we were both delighted to find this truly five-star worthy coffee shop.  Walking north on 8th St from the campus of UW-Sheboygan, we were almost sure that we had seen all the cool things there were to see on that road.  Then we saw a chessboard on a large wooden table near the window and a welcoming sign on the sidewalk and we knew we hadn't walked as far as we did in vain.

Paradigm Coffee is the kind of coffee shop I wish existed in Decatur, GA, where I currently live--and don't get me wrong, intown Atlanta has many a great coffee shop.  But none as fabulous as this. First, the space is huge.  HUGE.  There is bar seating, couch seating, window seating, table seating, comfy chair seating: all generously spaced from each other.  Second, this coffee shop is quiet.  The music (well-selected indie favorites like Andrew Bird and Death Cab with some ragtime jazz alternating in--a fun mix) is soft and we could not overhear the voices of other folk.  This is a place that is equally suitable for getting serious work done and for catching up with a friend.  Third, the folks that work here seem to be great folk: good at their job, friendly in recommending items and explaining decor questions to newbies (we asked about all the bikes decorating the shop and the Wisconsin 14 poster [the boyf had thought the number of senators in question was 12]), and committed to the laudable goal of sustainable living.  Fourth, they have yummy, affordable snacks.  We shared a scrumptious double chocolate chip mint cookie.

If Paradigm were located in my town, I'd most likely visit it every other day.  Except for Mondays, when they are closed.  A barista eloquently explains why on their blog website.  Key point: everybody needs a day of rest, yo.

This place is really great. It's a big and comfortable place with friendly baristas, good fair trade coffee and delicious food. They also have all kinds of board games and do live music. There are bikes parked all over inside and the decor is quite interesting. This place is much more than a coffee shop, but is also a great community resource. Plenty of huge tables, couches and sun if you'd like it, and of course, free WiFi. I always spend the day here when I'm visiting my ma in Sheboygan.

Each time I've been in Sheboygan, the boy and I have stopped here.  Sometimes twice in a visit.  :)  It's a really nice coffee shop, but not nice in the pretentious way.  It's clean, well decorated, and has both sunny and dark parts to suit your mood.  The staff is ridiculously friendly (one lady waxed on and on about how good the peanut butter cookie I'd chosen would be--and it was!).

I love that the bathrooms are covered with anonymous secrets, even if the secrets are clearly from angsty 14 year olds with no real problems.  I still stay in the bathroom reading them much too long.

They have live music a lot of the time, and apparently, have even hosted my friend Lisa Gatewood.  Woohoo!  I've never been for a concert, but could see it being a good time.  Also, according to their MySpace page, they're closed on Mondays.  Who knew?
