I can't say I was the least bit impressed. It was bad. For starters, the seating in general felt odd. There were a few tables scattered around a big banquet room. The decor is very tired. The wood walls are stained with a turquoise color that just feels like the last century. The food was boring and very low quality, even considering the prices, and the steaks were either over-cooked or under-cooked. Also, the cheese curds weren't good. How do you make dry cheese curds? The ONLY positive thing I can say is that the view was great, being close to the lake. But if you're in the Eau Claire area and are thinking about going somewhere with a nice view, The Stone Barn near Nelson is beautiful and has amazing pizza, Jake's Supper Club, north of Menomonie, is actually a very nice place on the water (when the blue-green algae isn't covering Tainter Lake), and there are a couple places in Hudson and along the St. Croix river, as well as a couple places along the Mississippi (though not as many as you'd think). Actually, I think anyone that bothers to put a great restaurant ACTUALLY overlooking the Mississippi river can make a killing.
