Another delicious meal at Parlour Car last night...hanger steak with Yukon potatoes, perfectly prepared veggies and salad as well. Â Dinner for 4 (all hanger steaks) included a bottle of Ch. Ste Michelle Indian Wells Cab for $111 + tax and tip. Â Corey's service was perfect. Â A real treat in a very comfortable venue.
Review Source:Wow I don't even know where to begin: I took a friend out for dinner with a gift certificate my dad had given me and both servers seemed annoyed and remarked rudely about using it. Our appetizer never came, it was a half hour before I got my soup and the another 25 minutes before we actually got our food-55minutes to get dinner when all other people were already eating and there were only 3 other tables with couples at them. Our waiter changed after we got there, the second which was rude and rolled her eyes at me when I asked how much the dinner special was since it wasn't written on a board or anything and they couldn't even tell me what the specials were off the top of their heads (not professional in this setting). The owner kept interrupting us while we were talking and proceeded to make both of us uncomfortable by touching us during our meal multiple times. I wanted to scream and run away and when dessert was finally offered I asked for it to go so we could leave as quickly as possible, although it was nearly a half hour before I ordered dessert, got our bill and was finally able to leave, far to long in my opinion. All in all I would never return here left alone actually spend a dime here, nor would I recommend it to anyone ever. Â This was one of the most awkward and uncomfortable dinning experiences I have ever had without a doubt.
Review Source:Ownership has no clue about food or the restaurant business.
My favorite lines from the evening were:
1. Our chef has less than 6 months of experience. We're looking to hire a chef that went to cooking school.
2. I didn't know that cooking salmon at too high of a temperature causes the fat to bleed to the surface and the salmon to be dry.
3. The food will be better next time.
4. Â Oh, the extra 15 is the corkage fee.
The clams were cold, salad contained rotten leaves and salmon was dry. She made no attempt to make up for these issues by offering us a drink or taking money off the bill. I would advise staying away from this restaurant.
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find a magnificent Bistro in the heart of Cle Elum! The whole experience is awesome, the wonderfully fresh and delicious food, the comfortable setting inside as well as your patio. And cheers for a wonderful staff . We will be back!

Seriously, the food was amazing!! The best meal I've had in a long time!
The combination of flavors in the dishes were delightful.  We shared the Baked goat cheese  in a fire roasted tomato compote appetizer which was served with toasted crostini..YUMMMM!!
I had the BBQ chicken Mac and Cheese for my entree..it was awesome! The portion was so generous I brought home about half of it. Can't wait to eat my leftovers!
We split the 3 berry cheesecake and again the flavor was amazing!
Not only is the food awesome the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. Owners  Bette and Liza create a friendly fun atmosphere that'll undoubtedly have people coming back for the food and service.
Besides having tables there is bar seating and comfy couches where you can hang out with friends while having a glass of wine, beer etc
I Â predict this restaurant is going to enjoy huge success!
