Patsy's

Like to eat her chicken salad sandwich. She has deli type food and always friendly service. Nice to have a restaurant in a small town that is not just junk food. She does have heavy lunches but they go quick.

This may be the only place to eat in Andersonville.  It is right at the intersection of Church and Oglethorpe, right behind, or next to, the Wirz monument.  If you exit the National Cemetery and head straight into Andersonville and across the tracks and keep going straight, you will soon see the monument, and then you will see Patsy's right next to it.  Or behind it.  Depends on your perspective.  Anyway, the fare is burgers and dogs and sandwiches, and a lunch special.  The food is good, nothing fancy, but a good bet for lunch.  And they are also open for brekky, so you can get to Andersonville early for breakfast, hit the Welcome Center and Drummer Boy Museum, and then drive over to the National Park and visit the welcome center, Camp Sumter, and the cemetery, and then come back to Patsy's for lunch.
