Pauly's BBQ

BBQ - in the heart of Amish country - 1/2 chicken, cornbread, Hobo potatoes, cottage cheese and a drink for less the $10 . Amish family eating there on a Thursday night - they know value. They close at eight, but customers were coming in past that hour. Going back to try the cobbler.

Dear Hubby and I were shopping around Arthur, and decided to try Pauly's BBQ. We had heard some good things about it, and decided to find out for ourselves. It was wonderful! One of the Saturday specials was BBQ Brisket, which we both ordered. It was very flavorful, juicy and tender. The sandwiches had two thick slabs of meat on them - - very filling! The fries were steak fries, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

One thing we will do different next time is not go right at lunchtime! It is a very small place (it used to be a dairy bar, so it's very small). We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but once we got seated our waitress was right there taking care of us.

We will definitely go back again! I'm looking to trying more things on the menu!
