I really wish this place has better customer service because some of their sandwiches really are pretty amazing.
Been to this location 3 times now. Nice little store front, right on the water, and they will run a fire in the fireplace when the weather is cold.
I have yet to have a sandwich I didn't like, some of the soups are a bit questionable (as they come out of a box you can pick up at the groccery store). It's a bit unsettling as most restaurants and sandwich shops have a nice big stainless kettle keeping the soups hot.
But it just takes forever every time you go in for lunch. I've been in with me and another person and I've been in with 8 people. The service just takes forever.
I do appreciate that these sandwiches are handmade, but I have never seen more than 1 person working behind the counter. Might make sense to have an extra person on staff or on call to help serve a group of 8 so lunch won't have to take over an hour.
