Pilars Martini

Very nice bar. We love to stop by after the theater (Garden Theater next door). Would have given it 5 stars but the service is not up to par. They need more servers.

We went to Winter Garden just because we hadn't been in awhile and it is an absolutely adorable Americana small town. Just happened to be the Spring Festival and there were tents of plants and such from one end of Plant Street to the other. After walking around for awhile we wanted a refreshment and the exterior of Pilar's was inviting.

We sat at the bar and a really nice bartender quickly offered us a delicious craft beer on tap. My companion tasted the Florida Cracker, ordered one, and recommended it to a gentleman trying to decide. I ordered a glass of wine. We were served quickly and efficiently and then left alone! It was great! As our drinks neared the bottom the bartender again appeared and had our bill ready to go if we didn't want another round. I hate waiting to pay so this was a good sign!

The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. We didn't order any food but I will go back to try something!

Though listed here as "Pilar's Martini" it's just Pilar on the sign. It is pronounced pe-lar'
