Pinckney Pub and Grill

This place is right around the corner from the house we are currently renting, so we figured we'd drop in for a bite one day.  You gotta know your local joints right?  It looks a little rough from the outside and it's continues to look rough on the inside.  There's huge paint chunks missing from the wall, it's a little rough around the edges.  It looks like one of those places that used to have a juke box, and pool tables and would be really smoky and a popular hang out spot, but now that people can't smoke inside it's kind of dwindled down in popularity.

Our waitress was very nice and we got plenty of service since we were there on the early side (5:45/6) and there was only one other table in the restaurant.  However I ordered a taco salad and got soft tacos.  I was super hungry so didn't complain and they weren't half bad, but nothing to write home about either.  This is not the place to come for gourmet food by any means, but it'll fill your belly when you're hungry.

It might be more of a burger joint, so if we go again, and I'm sure we will when the fridge is empty and we're desperate, maybe I'll try a burger and a beer...might be more up their alley...

Great, very cold beer. I love their fries. Kristin is the greatest bartender. Heather is a great waitress.

Inexpensive beer and good hamburgers for the money...  Some nights they have live music which is a treat as well.
