Whoa Nelly, stop the press!
This is a stereotype of the concept of "the Town bar and grill".
The bar wenches don't take no sassin', and they tell you what to eat for lunch...and maybe you should just take their suggestion. I hit this place twice on my 2 day Vaca. Once for lunch and had a grilled cheese (which is what I always get when I'm in a sketch place and don't want to risk botulism). You cannot F- up grilled cheese.
It was alright and luckily there was cold beer on tap to wash it down.
The 2nd time I ventured in here, was for last call drinks on the way home from the local country bar. Five of us had a round of drinks for under $15 dollars. really...
The 2nd shift barkeep had a similar sense of humor as the 1st shift...but not so much.
One of the patrons stopped me between the bathroom and the bar and asked, "Hey Girl, you wanta dollar?", Uh no, drunk ass.
Priceless...well, wait, not as priceless as watching the same drunk hold up the wall as he walked TO HIS CAR to drive home. Barney Fife followed us about 4 miles, where one of the passengers in the car told a story of how the town calls this particular stretch of road which were on "the airstrip" because people drove down it, and would not turn in time, this propelling themselves in to the field directly in front of the T-end of road. No sonner than we had all laughed at the story, did Barney Fife (from the bar) propel his car into the arrowed sign indicating the turn right or left, directly in front of him. Then we all turned to watch as he backed out of the field and back onto the road to continue his drunken ride home.
