Sorry, but I didn't like it. Let me preface with the fact that I don't drink beer. So I was here with my hubs who does. I have no opinion on the beer.

I had the Pimp Mac and Triple Cheese and it sucked. Really sucked. Sorry, but I just hated it. So I told the waitress I didn't like it, she said, "That's too bad," and took my full plate away, and offered me nothing. I wasn't looking for a freebie, but it would have been nice to offer something. Perhaps just, "Can I get you something else?" Would that be so hard? She knew I was sitting there with nothing but water, that I didn't like my food I ordered, but never brought me another menu or asked or offered anything else.

So, needless to point out, the service sucked too. And if you look at my other reviews, you'll see I'm not usually this negative. But I really had a crappy time.

Lastly, about an hour after we arrived, something happened to the overhead music and it was filled with static. I mentioned it to the bartender and she said, "Yeah, it does that. We'll fix it." 20 minutes later, people are leaving because  it's so annoying, and no one is doing anything about the music. I did notice, however, that some of the staff had friends at a back table they were all playing patty cake with. So that could account for the crappy service. Maybe waitresses and bartenders should work at their place of employment and visit with their friends on their personal time. . . If this is how this bar is run, well, don't expect big tips or return customers.

Again, to be fair, my hubs had three different beers and enjoyed them all. But he didn't give a rat's crap about the service, because he was having beer. LOL! Pretty girls, good beer, who needs service, right? I'm glad he had a good time and maybe this is just better as a Guy's Place. Men like women who are selfish, rude and stuck up, don't they? ;)

I was here on the night of 3/2/13. Glad to see this area finally has a place that has tapped into the craft beer craze. Although not quite on the level as gastropubs in San Diego or LA, still very nice for Yuma. My major complaint on this particular night was the service. There were 2 bartenders serving up drinks on this night and the female bartender was probably the rudest I've seen. I get that it was busy this Saturday night but her behavior from arguing with customers over drinks ordered to rudely slamming drinks on the counter was unacceptable. There were at least 5 customers that i know of that commented on her behavior.

I would go back for drinks at this place...as long as she was not working.

Fast wi-fi and a great crowd.  Lovely baristas too.

Great beer, however, the service is below average.  This place has been open long enough to get their s**t together. The wait time for initial contact is unsatisfactory. I qould love to support this local venue, but management has got to so better.

The Pint House Bar And Grill is a wonderful addition to Yuma. The food is absolutely wonderful. Have yet to try something that I haven't loved. Great selection of draft beer and the staff is awesome and always friendly and professional. I'll be back again and again.

I have been to the Pint House four times since it opened.  Once for a reception that I was hosting, twice with friends including a take over for the Humane Society and once for lunch.  Every experience was great!  The selection of beers is overwhelming, but that is a good thing.  The food has been, so far, very good.  The service has been above expectation.  Easy parking and lots of it.  Nice layout inside and a great patio in the back.  I thought that they service might not be so good when I held a reception on the back patio.  I was wrong.   We had about 25 people at the reception.  Nobody had to wait very long to get our their order.  The staff was very helpful in recommending shareable dishes. Even when very crowded the service has been johnny on the spot.

My favorite beer so far is Mudshark, but I have not worked my way through very many so far.

I highly recommend this place if you like out of the ordinary beers or just want a cold one with or without friends.

Ok, so I said I would give it another go. And I did.

I went back once it's all settled in. No more of this "we just started & wasn't ready for customers yet crap" and you know what, I was pleasantly surprised. My party had a stellar female server that was happy, attentive and pleasant to deal with. Not ignoring us like the last time, did get our orders right, and didn't circle us like a vulture around a ripe carcass. She even had opinions about the beer.

Drinking: Beers are plenty, pleasantly diversified and hold an average good quality
Eating: Nothing to brag about, but absolutely sufficient for the establishment. I can't even remember what I had.
Service: Considering Yuma, and that the owners have done effort to improve - I will claim it's ok.

Summary: If the act of imbibe brew that has flavor, then this place might be for you. The service is hit and miss, and the owners know it. There are great servers, and there are horrible servers who feel entitled to gratuity without putting in the most necessary effort. (Remember; the difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.) . This is a drinking establishment, and that's what it should remain. The beer is, uncontested, why people go here. The food is something to eat while guzzling the beer. If you go here for the food, I am sorry that your own cooking is sub-par.

So if beer and beer alone is your forté, then Pint House could be your place.

    ..und das.. you know.

Since my review 11 days ago, craft beer prices went up from $4 to $5.  I was not aware of it until the check came.  Prices used to be posted on the menu, not anymore since they now hand out a photo copied beer list.  What restaurant raises their prices in less than a month of opening.  Tacky.

Came here last night with three old buddies. We came to drink cold, tasty beers. And lots of 'em. We were not disappointed.

It's in a convenient location on Main Street. Free parking was available on the street in front and in the rear lot.

None of us were from Yuma; it was just a meeting point in between San Diego and Phoenix. We luckily happened upon this place and decided to stay. For a few hours.

All of us had "more than a couple" beers. I can recommend the BaBa Black for those who enjoy porters/darker brews. We all enjoyed every craft brew we tried. They offered no local draft beers. The pints are $5; pricier than I prefer. Not a good happy hour.

We all ate something. I had a plain burger. Tasty but undercooked. I had specifically specified "well done, crispy, charred" but that wasn't good enough I suppose. Like others have said, they're skimpy on the fries. It was only $8 so that was fine.

The only complaint was from the guy in our party who ordered the hot wings--they were tiny and tough to eat. Because of that, we left and ate an even bigger meal elsewhere.

The service was OK....friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. The restrooms are outside and not quite up to par.

We liked this place and I'd return if I found myself in the area again.

The fact that they have a variety of beer is great! However, the bartenders really need to know what each beer is and how to pour them properly. The food is okay. They should serve more fries with their burgers though. Service...still debating...some servers/bartenders are better than others.

I like the fact that they rotate their beer selection. Reminds me of Newport Pizza & Ale House in SD minus the tasty pizza.

There are some arbitrary decorations which don't make sense. It could do with out them.

FOOD:  I cannot comment on the food, since I had no desire to stay there long enough to even try it.  The only reason the bartender even received a tip is because I was so angry that I did not want to have to stay there one minute longer to wait for change.

ATMOSPHERE:  It is fairly bland - gray on gray.

SELECTION:  There is a good selection of beer, especially compared to other places in the community.  However, the beer menu provides no flavor profiles, which in craft beer pubs is a weird thing not to have.

SERVICE:  AWFUL!!!!!!  I have learned to tolerate slow service, and uninterested and inexperienced staff.  But the bartender here was blatantly rude.  Shockingly so.  As someone who loves craft beers, I was excited to hear something like this was opening in Yuma. Despite warnings from friends who had gone there before me - slow service, inexperienced staff, low quality food, over priced - I wanted to try it myself. It is a new business, there will be growing pains...right? After my experience, you could not pay me to go back.  It took a good 10 minutes for the bartender to even acknowledge we were there and give us the menus...there were MAYBE 10 customers in the place and we were the only people sitting at the bar. Once our presence was acknowledged, the bartender was nothing but rude. After telling us to find a suggestion box when we commented on lack of flavor profile on the menu, then saying that people experienced in beer tasting would not agree with my boyfriend's assessment of a particular brand of beer, I thought it couldn't get any worse. THEN she argued with my boyfriend over the pronunciation of a particular brand of liqueur. She made him say the name repeatedly, stating she wasn't sure what he wanted because if he wanted [insert liqueur name here] then it was pronounced a certain way. She knew exactly what he was saying, because she was standing next to the bottle and had checked the price. But she wouldn't let it go. Commented on how she had worked for the company and knew how it was pronounced. My boyfriend was not saying it incorrectly - he has an accent. I can tolerate slow service, or inexperienced servers. But arguing with customers? Insulting people? Pretending you can't fill the order because of a pronunciation? It was so over the top that it is not something I am willing to experience again. It is too bad, could have been a great place.

My favorite microbrew is on draft! The Pimp Mac & Cheese is amazing and they serve food until 2:00am.

Oh and the ice cream is home made!

Well let me start off and say I love the fact that they have 45 beers on tap with a staff that knows the difference between a Stout and an IPA. I went there for lunch and had The Dirty Chick (Chicken sandwich) and it was hands down the best chicken sandwich I have ever hide.

I really love the decor and the extra long bar.

I heard about the new restaurant, The Pint House, through the other local establishments my friends and I frequent downtown. I was very excited to have not only another local business to support, but one that would add a great option to that area. The promise of 45 beers on tap and an eatery that was open late in that area (something that is otherwise not available) seemed like the perfect addition and I couldn't wait to try it.

Our party was a group of four and we showed up opening night a little before 7pm. Being opening night, some confusion, mistakes, and even a little bit of craziness is to be expected, but my experience was downright awful. We walked in, it was full inside, but there were open tables on the back patio. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get staff attention to question if they served food on the patio before I was assured that they did have servers out there and to seat ourselves. We found an open table and then proceeded to wait 35 minutes before being able to flag down a waitress to bring us menus. We were eager to try some of the interesting sounding beers and asked our server about a few of them. She responded with "I don't know". If you have a restaurant that is named The Pint House, at the very least your staff should have some knowledge about the beer being served. I don't expect her to have tasted all 45 on opening night; however, I would like to know what kind of beer I'm ordering since the menu does not have an explanation. That being said, we took our chances and I was very pleased with the Mudshark Stout. We placed our food order at the same time as our drink order and that was not fun. The menu is not very extensive; however our server was not familiar with the selection and could not pronounce several menu items. She finally got our order down and went to get our drinks. Three of the four drinks came out a few minutes later, the fourth drink followed about 10 minutes after. Some of the food arrived about 30 minutes after we ordered...some did not. We never got our appetizer, one order was correct, two orders were incorrect and one order did not show up with our meal. The server looked at my friend whose order did not arrive and asked "did you order something?" She is the girl who took our orders! She went to go inquire and came back 30 minutes later to say they no longer had what my friend originally ordered. This is an hour after the order was first placed. They agreed to comp her meal and she ordered a salad hoping it wouldn't take too long since the rest of us had finished eating (and it is very uncomfortable to eat in front of someone while they are waiting on their food, but all of our food was getting cold and who knows how long we would have waited if we had insisted on getting all our meals at the same time). Salad arrived another 30 minutes later and we finished up, tracked down the server for our check, and left. During our meal, we had to ask for utensils, there were no condiments on the table, and we were never asked if we needed a refill or how the food came out. Quality of food is okay, nothing to brag about, but the price is cheap.

I will probably give this place another shot after it has had some time to get itself together just because the beer was nice and it could be a really great place that I would like to support. But the staff needs serious training if they want customers to come back.

Loved the decor and the bar was inviting.  They have an open floor plan which may turn some people off if they like a bit of privacy.  The food was moderately priced; $9 for the pork sandwich and $8 for their spin on mac and cheese.  However, the portion size was small for the price.  Especially in comparison to other restaurants in the area.  The food was okay.  Would have preferred more sauce or juiciness in the sandwich as I found it a little dry.  The mac and cheese dish was too greasy.  Did like the little bite that it had to it.  Would have preferred it to be more cheesy?  Or perhaps a thicker sauce?  But on to the beer as it is called the pint house.  We ordered the cider and the orange blossom.  Wow!  Smooth, great flavor, just perfect.  Staff was attentive and courteous.  They food was out in a timely manner and they cleaned off our table quickly.  Loved the little touches like the plates and silverware.  Overall, I enjoyed my experience here.  I would definitely go back again to try more of their beers.  It is going to be a great place to visit and I look forward to returning with a few friends.
