  Brisket was alright. A little cold and it didn't seem fresh for the day. Ribs weren't anything to write home about. Beans were alright. Not the best BBQ but sure beats fast food.

  I had been craving pancakes ever since waking up in Altus, Oklahoma(I'm on the road, headed to California).  Small town after town -no places to stop but Subway, Sonic and gas stations... :(  Finally, I am passing into Memphis, Texas and I see this unassuming little place, with a sign saying they're open..
  
  Now, diners in small towns can be a risk, as everyone knows....  Rest assure, the Pit Stop Bar-B-Q is a sure win!  My stack of cakes was fluffy, clean without the slightest hint of grease from the griddle, and more than I could eat, though I did try!
  
  As I was having breakfast, a person stopped in who was ALSO traveling through - a return customer, craving a sandwich they had had before!
  
  you KNOW a place is good when someone driving through comes back and happily says the reason.  It's NOT that they're the only game in town -they're good!
