I've been several more times, to the PitStop for karaoke, and still like them quite well. Â I have noticed a few things though:
They have a 10-% off food Yelp check-in offer! Â Problem is, their staff hasn't been trained in how to recognize or process these, and although my server couldn't have been nicer about it, and we eventually got it resolved, she shouldn't have been put into this situation. Â Management needs to make sure all servers & staff are aware of this offer.
Last night I had the potato skins. Â The tasted pretty good, but they were very very greasy, and pretty skimpy portions, compared to what most other places that I go, serve. Â
Also, in order to start a tab here, not only do you have to let them hang onto your credit card, but also your ID! Â I understand their reasoning, but no one else does this, and I REALLY do not like that. Â I would have preferred to run a tab and pay with my card, but I had just enough cash, to avoid having to surrender my card & CDL, so I did that. Â I don't know if it's even legal to hold on to your ID (anyone know if it is?), but if you ended up closing your tab and paying cash, you could very easily leave without your CC and ID. Â Just happened to my best friend last week at another bar where she left her card. Â Luckily for her, I was still there, and took her CC for her, but she was still without it for several days until I saw her next. Â There must be a better way.
Still 4 stars = Yay! Â I'm a fan, but with a few "suggestions" for improvement.
Went Sunday to watch the Raider game. Â We were seated at a table by the restrooms to watch the game. The manager, without reason changed the game. The next table complained that the rules set by the owner were breeched. She remarked that Packer fans, who were seated on the other side of the bar wanted to watch the Packer game. I believe it was her that wanted to watch the Packer game from behind the bar. I was appalled by her arrogance and lack of customer service. It was no wonder the place was empty. I then closed my tab and left with my party in protest. Although the Beer Hunter was very busy the staff were kind enough to seat my party by a tv with the game on and without disruption.
