Well, here we are again out in the big wide wonderful United States of America, Texas to be specific.
We flew into Austin and got our rental car (upgraded to a Ford F150!) and headed for Waco, our first stop of the adventure to look at travel Trailers made by Casita in Rice, Texas.
Next day on north to Rice (Corsicana) saw what we liked and ordered up, be ready in September!
Hmm, now what y'all? We saddled up and headed south on I45 and got powerful hungry about Buffalo and got off the highway and decided to avoid the usual fast food joint and went local.
This place is simple, full of local who all stopped talking when we entered, but wait they got out of a truck so they must be okay!
I ordered the lunch special which was a six ounce sirloin, mashed potato's with a salad, $ 6.49. So I said what the hell and ordered me up one medium rare and the Mrs. settled on a BLT.
A short spell later out came these piles of vittles, the BLT was a BLT but the bacon local and delishes and for steak it was fork tender and great the salad and taters were okay!
Ifn wer ever get back to these parts we'll definitely stop here again!
Off to College Station and hopefully a visit to TEEX and the George H. Bush Library at Texas A & M.
