My family LOVES this place! Great place to stop on the way to and from Tahoe. The staff is really friendly and the food is DELICIOUS!!! Plus lots of beers on tap for my husband and wine for me :) Love all the sports decor and the TV always has sports games on. I highly recommend trying the pasta too (Fettucini Alfredo is my fav) or the Chicken Greek Pizza is a fav of ours also.
If driving to or from Tahoe, exit Sly Park in Pollock Pines to get to some yummy food :)
I brought the family last week and was appalled by the slow service and turned off by the mediocre pizza. Â We were told our large, two-topping pizza would be 30 minutes, but it turned out to be more than one hour. Â As a consolation, they gave us an order of bread sticks--no sincere apologies, just bread sticks. Â The pizza was definitely not worth the wait; it tasted like the frozen supermarket variety, and no surprise since everything there comes out of the freezer or a can.
Review Source:Went in again while doing laundry next door, because someone else paid.
It's still too expensive and it's still not all that tasty to me. The sauce is bland, the cheese isn't very tasty and the bread is boring. It looks pretty slow whenever I go by to laundry, or Chinese food - whereas it used to appear very busy usually. I wish they'd close up and re-open with new & better ingredients and menu.
I declare this pizza-- pretty tasty
Food: tasty pizza
Service: nice and helpful
Atmosphere: cross between sports bar and pizza place
On the way to Tahoe, we stopped off at the location right off of Sly Park road... I don''t know if this is the same locale. Â I think it's the same company, so whatever...
ANYHOO... the King was quite pleased. Â Asked which was the best pizza, the young girl behind the counter said "I don't know, I only eat pepperoni," which sort of made me wonder, but then she asked her co-horts behind her and they decided we should do halfsies on the Greek and the Pesto. Â Talk about helpful!
And the pizza was quite tasty. Â
So, if you're on your way up to the 'Hoe (as we all love to call it because we pay so much to get up, all for a few brief moments of downhill fun... I could seriously go on... this sentence started as a joke, but as I continue, I'm realizing that it's actually a pretty apt comparison). Â Uh... where was I? Â Yes-- if you're on your way to the 'Hoe, and you want something quick, simple, reasonably priced, and tasty-- continue past Placerville and take the Sly Park exit....
