Some of the best pizza you will ever have in your life. Â As to the review that said the place isn't open for lunch on weekends, there is a reason they are closed then...they can be. Â As for delivery, they used to do it, but they are just too busy. Â People are already willing to drive 20-30 miles just to have this pizza, so they don't deliver because they don't have to. Â The owner still mans the ovens as much as he can, and he still makes the best Taco Pizza on this planet. Â When we were in college we wouldn't head back to school until 5pm on Sunday nights just so we could wait for this place to open and get 2 pizzas to take back with us. Â The best is the prices. Â A large supreme (Haus Combo) with full salad bar and 2 sodas is around 16 bucks.
Review Source:this pizza has helps satiate my bad habit for bread and cheese...
baked in cast iron skillets and the cheese oozes over the sides and kind of burns and crisps in the most delicious burn/crisp way that cheese against hot cast iron will do....
we had the supreme and i unfortunately could only eat 2 pieces because of heartiness...but the leftovers got me 3 more days of pizza!!!
I would have given this fantastic place a four-five star rating if their hours were not so inconvenient. It is hit or miss if they will be open. When we have friends in town for the weekend pizza sounds great for lunch, fat chance they are open before 4PM, plus they don't even deliver.
A few positive notes:
The pizza is spectacular
The atmosphere is hometown Americana at its finest
The service is nice as long as you coerce conversation from them
Try their pepperoni thin crust!
