Pizza Plus

I will never go to the Independence, VA location ever again! I tried to take my 3 kids out to lunch today. I went to Pizza Plus because there is nothing to do for kids around here. They have some video games in the back room for kids and birthday parties I guess. I asked the girl if I could be seated in the game room area because my kids wanted to play the games. She said "NO!". The reason given was that they have to seat everyone in the front room near the buffet when they are not busy. She said my kids could go back there and play but we couldn't sit back there and eat. I was so irritated by this. I told her I guess we would just go somewhere else. She just turned around and walked away into the kitchen area without another word. So, I had to take my kids from there hungry and crying and drive 20 miles to another restaurant. I guess they would rather lose a customer to avoid waiting on and cleaning a table that's an extra 2 feet from the buffet. I'm so disappointed.

Pizza Plus is the newest addition to the town of Independence, VA. They have a great lunch pizza and salad buffet. I've eaten there several times and enjoyed it. $6.99 per person. Service is good.

This is my only bad experience with them. Just had the calzone with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. Too much bread and not enough stuffing. In fact, I could not find the mozzarella cheese. Also no sauce on the side to dip the calzone.

Overall, it's a good restaurant , but needs to work on the calzone.
