A new place in Lake Elsinore not far from our home. It is intimidating with a sign that reads "Bikers and Veterans welcome" and a POW/MIA banner at the entrance. I'm a Vietnam Vet and was OK with it but my wife was skeptical.
The menu surprised us since we were looking for Sliders, pulled pork sandwiches and regular bar food. I ordered the pork chops in balsamic reduction sauce with melted blue cheese and roasted potatoes. My wife ordered egg plant. The bartender said the chef was from a 5 star restaurant and the food was amazing.
She obviously never ate at a 5 star restaurant and neither has the cook. I grill a lot of chops and these were definitely overdone. The eggplant was soggy and unpeeled.
On a positive note the music was not blaring and the place was clean and neat. They should have a hard liquor license by September but for now be happy with their great assortment of draft beers and wine.
If the idea is to create a biker dive bar they should call Guy Fieri for some tips. The current menu doesn't fit with this place.
