  The BBQ restaurant we were planning to visit was closed so we stopped here instead. The parking lot was filled with cars but inside, the spacious restaurant was not busy.The staff was welcoming and attentive and service was speedy. The decor is country collectible, wooden tables and chairs, concrete floors.
  
  Now for the food. Salad bar and soup (one trip, small plate) was a side option for the steaks, fish, and chicken entrees. The chopped steak with gravy and onions was reminiscent of a TV dinner.  Dessert was not available and we were not offered a second trip to the salad bar for its fruit and ambrosia items. So we stopped down the road at Frosty Front for double dips of ice cream.
