The band was pretty good, and there was No cover charge.... this earns them a few stars. But the service is horrible, and the food was terrible and overpriced. My friend went to the bar and ordered a drink, after a long wait, the waitress handed him his beer , but before handing him his change, she helped herself to a  $2 tip. (for this THEFT , they lose a  star)
They have a limited menu, and they were out of half of the items. The meat is precooked and kept in a big metal tub prior to serving. Our burgers were literally burnt to a crisp, and served cold.
This place is trying to be like  "Full Throttle", very commercial, newbee bar, complete with gift shop and $30 t-shirts.
Worth going at least once, to check it out, but plan to eat someplace else first.
Been there - done that - don't need to go back.

Bad Food. Bad Service. Bad Times.

Tourist Biker Spot. The Bar is Fine. Everything Else is BAD.

I have been there twice and waited to review until I went a second time.

1st Time I went on a motorcycle ride with my dad and he order a Burger Well Done. When the burger came out he bit into it and the thing RAW. One side of it didn't even have marks where it should have touched the Flattop. Not that Poopy's is the place to send back food, but you couldn't have anyway because there was no servers around anywhere. Plus, everything there is overpriced. I would rather have went to the Mc Donald's up the road

2nd Time I went with a buddy because he really wanted to go the place was dead, so we sat at the bar. There were only two other people across the bar and neither them nor ourselves received any service from the bartender. Food was okay not worth $10-12 per person plus what ever your drinks are. I am very disgusted with this place and have vowed to never go back.

    Result:

Skip this Poopy place go and  somewhere else.

Poopy's as the menu clearly states is all about s**t, and that's exactly what you get. S**t food and s**t service.

Me and my buddies were looking forward to stopping here for a good bite to eat and good cheer after riding all day. 7:30pm Friday and the place is busy but not packed, getting a table outside was easy enough. Waitress tells us it will be 45 to an hr, before we get our food. Fine, we're hungry, tired and not sure how far the next joint would be. An hour and a half later and the food comes!! And it sucked. The fish fry was all fry no fish, seems like they left the poor fish in the deep fryer for the extra 45 minutes. My bro got the burger which was a little better, not good, just not horrendous.

Our drinks came slow, beer menu has every bad beer out there plus PBR.

Our poor waitress had to service the whole outdoor seating, half of it separated by a fence which she had to around each time.  When it came to get out check the other waitstaff who were just sitting around refused and said we had to wait for her to come back. She deserved our tip because I don't the poor service was her fault but rather Poopy management.

Atmosphere not all that great, been to much friendlier biker bars. They had a band playing, they sounded bad and was way too loud.

Next time I ride through I'm going to pass this up and check out Iron Horse instead.

Poopy's, the name says it all.

I enjoyed my visit to Poopy's.  It's decent pub food.  I had a grilled chicken sandwich (hold the mayo!)... I was pleased with the price and appearance.  I did have to add a little salt and pepper but I'm not gonna complain.  It's grilled chicken in a biker pub for  cryin' out loud.  It's not supposed to be five star!  (Dang it I wanted a BIG old greasy burger but this thing called a diet gets in the way!)

Instead of fries, I subbed a side salad w/ raspberry vinaigrette dressing.  It was delicious and the side salad looked pretty - much nicer than some I've seen at more expensive places.

The service was great.  Beverly waited on me and she was just as sweet as could be.  I will be happy to return there one day and think I might ask for one of her tables.   I had a rough day and she helped bring the spirits up a lot.

Remember, this is not the Taj Mahal.  The rolling sign announces that the buffet is "cheaper than shit".  Do you have kids?  If so, be advised that fecal reference is in several places in the menu... It doesn't bother me any!  I even bought a cap that says "Poopy's - cheaper than shit"...

Check it out... Also, there are a lot of good campgrounds in the area.  Have fun!

.. What can I say:  the club sandwich is absolutely spectacular (get the Poop sauce to dip in instead of mayo), the back deck is perfect for hanging out and the owners are just great, local people... good spot ~ give it a try  :)

Nasty ass flies everywhere. Waving my arm all the time to keep flies off my food. Drink prices almost doubled from last year.Go to main street bars.

This is a great destination ride from the suburbs.  Just over a hundred miles from Aurora, Poopy's makes for a decent day of motorcycle time.  Plenty of bikes to ogle while you walk around and try to look tough.  You can get parts for your bike, eat, drink and get a tattoo all under the same roof.  Like others have said... the food is good, the portions are huge and the waitresses are pretty nice.  I try to make it to Poopy's at least twice a year on the bike... and I can't wait to go back!

Check out Pallisades Park while you're in the area.  Beautiful.  And the bridge into Sabula, IA made it easy for me to say I have now ridden my motorcycle in two states!

Food was alright and the portions were very filling, but the whole poop-themed menu thing is a little ridiculous. I understand they're trying to be humorous and take the 'Poopy's' name as far as they can, but seriously? Poop jokes? Are we 7 years old? I understand it's designed to appeal to a certain niche in biker culture (sport bikes need not apply), but I will not eat at a place where grown ass men and women find poop jokes funny.

The only reason I'm giving it any stars at all is that they have some pretty talented tattoo artists with decent pricing options. However, even though it's probably good for business, I'm not sure how ethical it is to have a tattoo parlour connected to a bar. I can only imagine the number of drunken tattoos causing regret the next day.

This place is fun, fun FUN! We camped nearby and stopped in for lunch. And this place has everything! Food, bar, bands, camping, bike shop, tattoo shop and gift shop. There might even be more that I am forgetting at the moment.

We both enjoyed our meals, but I got the medium sized burger and it was absolutely huge! Next time I'm getting the little poop!

I can't wait to go back this summer!

Great biker bar.  They have a full menu inside and a small fast menu outside(burgers and brats), so depending on how much of a hurry you are in you can eat fast or at normal speed.  Prices are very reasonable.  They have a very good selection of motorcycle clothing.  If you feel wild, they even have a tattoo parlor on site.  Outside they have a nice stage with very good bands that play in the afternoon.

This place was just what my friends and I needed when it was pouring rain and we couldn't set up our camp site at the Palisades...

Drinks are CHEAP, food is good--esp the Fried Alaskan Pollack and Cheesy Potatoes, and the waitresses are nice and friendly.

Ooh and get the buffett--$7 :)
