Different music around every turn. Even a slightly different vibe around every corner. You've got Live Music, Boccie Ball, Bags, Big Jenga and numerous Bars. The place was packed but not so much that we could find a few seating options for a group of 6. The drinks were cheap and there was a food truck parking at the front door that I heard was amazing! Located a short cab ride away from Gruene Hall/ Grissmill.
I'd definitely go back if I'm ever in Downtown New Braunfels again.
For a new place in NB this place has really taken off. It has a great vibe. Cool outside area. Now if we could just take our dogs and eat lunch there.....
My only wish is that they didn't always try to have live music. All the bars in town play the same NB live bands and it gets so old and so boring. It would be awesome to have this place as the cool place that just has cool music running through it like normal bars in Austin.
Great atmosphere! Good band, games outside, plenty of space.... Â it's get a laid back vibe for late 20-somethings is New Braunfels- which is something that town definitely needed. We were there on a busy night and the bar staff outside kept up with the best of 'em, but the two bartenders inside desperately needed a 3rd person to help with large crowd.
Review Source:So, this is the new "it" bar in New Braunfels. Â It's pretty impressive how quickly this place gained notoriety in an area of a small town that has a pretty dense bar scene. Â I have been told by many that Pour Haus is a clone of Zelick's in San Marcos...I've never been there, so I can't confirm or deny. Â The setup of this place is awesome...they have a fantastic biergarten, games like cornhole, skeeball and even ping pong. Â What really sets this place apart though is the service. Â I've been twice now and the bartenders (besides being smoking hot) are all very friendly and fast. Â I see sipping many beers in the biergarten in my future.
